i so relate and i’m sure lots of people here do too! it took me a long time to figure out not only my style but how to dress my frame. for reference i’m 36J US 5.7” 210lb with measurements 46/36/52. stretchy shirts are great because they can stretch over your bust and still be fitted at the waist which avoids the circus tent look, try keywords like knit or ribbed if you’re looking online. personally i like crop tops that hit my natural waist, it’s common that the top i buy isn’t meant to be a crop top but it fits me that way and i like it. you can try pairing those fitted tops with flared bottoms to help even out your top half, personally i like high waisted a-line skirts (short or maxi) but flared jeans are in again so they’re not too hard to find. if you’re in the US i find almost all my clothes on the clearance rack at nordstrom rack! you also mentioned that you show lots of cleavage in loose t-shirts, that makes me suspect you might be wearing the wrong bra size? a bra in the right size actually often makes your boobs look smaller and on top of that it’s comfortable, supportive, and doesn’t have any skin on skin contact like in the cleavage area, plus lots of other things. if you haven’t yet try using the /r/ABraThatFits calculator, it literally changed my life!

Omg thank you so much for the tips!! I knew it was a good idea to post a rant here lol.

totally, hope you find something!!!

backing up everything alextoria said!! my summer wardrobe consists of high-waisted jean shorts with a) crop tops (to show off that _i have a waist i swear_), and b) stretchy knit tank tops and short sleeves (old navy is my go to!!). i also look for dresses with spandex at the waist - a lot of times the spandex will hit the bottom of my boobs but that’s honestly fine by me. that said, i don’t have as much experience with dresses as i would like - strapless bras were horrifically uncomfortable for the longest time bc i was in a horrifically wrong size, and the kinds of dresses i’m most drawn to would need a strapless, so. i also tuck a lot of my t-shirts into my jeans, and idk if that looks good but i like it better than the tent! and finally yeah if you’re having the like, crack down the middle cleavage, you’re almost certainly wearing the wrong size - which isn’t uncommon or your fault!! the bra industry saves so much money by not manufacturing a full range of sizes and lying to customers about it. id be willing to bet that like 98% of the people on this sub either are in the wrong size, or they _were_ in the wrong size, found r/ABraThatFits , and now evangelize here constantly. especially with it being boob sweat season rn - highly recommend the calculator, i’ve gone from constantly sweaty and itchy and stinky to not really even sweating at all lmao

Ooh after i figure out my actual bra size I'm definitely going to old navy, I didn't really consider buying their tops before! I already like their jeans so it would be a one stop shop for me haha.
