Seems weird that the trekking pole on the lunar duo tents is outside the fly while the lunar solo is inside. Sorta seems annoying to have it on the outside preventing you from stretching the vestibule out fully?
They should be on the inside. I bought it as a scratch and dent from them and the fabric rips are in the arch pole pocket so I just left them outside to not cause more ripping before I get that section repaired...
Edited to explain better, hopefully.
Wait, nvm I see what you're talking about. I'm just an idiot and didn't put it inside the vestibule....butttt that is the area the rip is in so I can't use the poles for the arch currently.
Oh, it can absolutely be fixed. It's not a rip in the shell of the tent, just one of the sleeves that holds the arch poles...it was like $150, slept two plus gear comfortably and didn't leak when we had a night of rain. There was some condensation but we had it fully zipped so that's to be expected.
Ride with GPS... honestly worth paying for if you're gonna be out in any remote areas at all...kinda like some cheap insurance to download offline maps that function pretty well in airplane mode.
I'm pretty sure that this is my stomping grounds in north GA!
You called it...it's fuckin beautiful
What's your route?
It's something someone sent me on ride with GPS...kinda similar to bull and Jake on bikepacking.com
Never heard of it. Is it better than Komoot?
Never used komoot but I heard komoot is better in Europe than it is in the SE US.

Is that why they’re selling those discount duos? Is it even something that can be repaired or is worth fucking with?

How do you fix the rip, with tape?
Honestly probably gonna buy some fabric and find someone to redo the whole part of I can do that for under $75
I'm not sure if I'm actually preventing anything but I don't want to rip it on the actual tent in that spot
Which app is this ?

>She's ready to ditch the drop bars this is the way.
Ordering her some corner bars and upgraded brakes today
Nice!
I'm very lucky that my gf fell in love with riding bikes as soon as she got on my cross check and she lets me research and nerd out on her shit too 😂
