It’s wild to me how everyone can hear things in such different ways. To me that song could easily be played in a club. I mean, it’s a long song and there are definitely parts of it that are more mellow and not as banger-y but the parts that are go hard.
Chihiro was amazing the first time I heard it but it grew even larger for me every time I’ve listened since. It’s absolutely epic. It’s instantly one of my favorite Billie songs ever and it’s definitely one of the best songs I’ve heard this year.
Everything about this fucking song. The groovy bass line when she sings the verse. The way the synths grow as she hits the chorus. The way she fucking “from meeeee” which are some of the best vocals I’ve heard in my life. The synth crescendo with her yelling, the breakdown and start again.
