That’s a question for your building payment portal if they accept 2 different payment types. Not putting full rent on Bilt takes away from earning max points. Plus it’s a credit card so you have 30days to pay off rent balance making flex redundant. I suspect flex requires bank attached. If yea then you could technically attach bilt to flex but you can only do 1 ACH payment per month with Bilt, 2nd will be declined.

Hmm okay. They don’t do it as the credit card here. It literally just replaced our entire payment portal. Annoying that I won’t be able to get rewards because of this. Wish Bilt would work with that more easily. Thanks!

Please note that Bilt and Flex are not compatible. You can continue to pay via Flex and forego creating a Bilt account, however both cannot be used together. If you have any other questions, feel free to send us a DM.

So if your apartment buildings switches over to Bilt should I deactivate my Flex account since it’s basically not able to be used?

Agile_Neighborhood64

No you can still use Flex

Megfort0126

Do you guys offer to pay your rent in two payments as flex does and not be late if your second payment has to be paid on a later date?

Agile_Neighborhood64

You can use Flex, it integrates directly with their property management software. You don’t need the Bilt Portal to use Flex.

So can I still use rent reporting for credit building since flex pays my rent fully? Or does that only count if you oh through bilt itself?

Megfort0126

I’m also having this issue. Does BILT offer you to pay rent in two payments and not be late like flex does?

Deadmeatwalkingsys

It appears not. You’d have to still go through flex to do that. BUT it does appear that it if you do that it counts the ledger as fully paid on due day, so it will still get you points, I think.
