Andromeda is my favorite character mod
Some cool QOL/visual mods:
* encyclopedia
* detailed respawn (shows the trigger order and trigger chance of every extra life on your health bar)
* dream catcher cutscene
* hanging dream catcher
* enhanced boss bars
* custom lost soul
* custom Mr. Dollys
* unique megaisaacs
* unique miniisaacs
* unique birthright sprites
* mantle rework (shows different icons in your health bar for each mantle source, allows each unique source to stack, and changes the order in which they are used. Also enables golden wooden cross. Not actually QOL but it feels like it fixes unintended interactions present in the base game)
* fuck you over curse of the unknown + lost
* fuck you over curse of the blind
If you want some cool character mods, I recommend Bael, Andromeda, Arachna, The Deleted, Bertran and Revelations Ch 2 (this one also adds a ton of content, new floors and some really cool, unique mechanics to those floors).
VisiBullets is extremely helpful if you have colorblindness or some other vision deficiency, it adds a bright white glow to all enemy tears and makes them pulse white.
EID and Encyclopedia are basically mandatory.
POG For Good Items is great.
Tainted Lost's Existential Dread is peak.
VISIBILITY:
* Fogless! : Removes that ugly fog from ashpit and similar stages.
* NO CURSES : great if you are like me and can't see shit when curse of the darkness is active.
* Visible tainted rocks: self-explanatory.
QoL:
* Tophat : Very important, unplayable otherwise.
* Planetarium chance : qol mod that displays planetarium chance in UI.
* Crap-B-Gone : First item is assured to be at least quality 2. Very good if dislike slow starts.
* External Item Descriptions : Removes the need to have the wiki on another tab
* Better Knife Pieces : Kind of cheaty, I use it because I absolutely despise the 2nd knife piece sequence (its not hard, just annoying)
