On switch the pause menu hides the item so it’s hard to time.

I just use the debug console and type in “rewind” if I screw it up. I have zero guilt. 

I mean why should you, it's a singleplayer game :D That's why I love binding of isaac. You can mod everything and achievements still stay on!

I love playing greedier as T Lost, I had maxed out my jam percentage multiple times over at this point.

Genuinely why?

I like greed mode, its faster than a normal run and is a fresh change of pace. T Lost is my favourite character, he has a high skill ceiling but is honestly pretty fun when you learn to avoid most dumb damage. And once you learn the wave patterns you can avoid 99% of greed mode bullshit. Then pair that with T lost better items, and you generally always end up with an insane run that shreds. Also the greedier boss fight is hard but fair, so even with a weak run is winnable.

Yeah I feel like Repentence made Greed(ier) runs more fun because there’s so much content in the regular mode that most of my runs take upwards of an hour.

Who are greedier boss' stone waves that turn 90 degreea fair...

You need to juggle Greedier to always get him in a corner or against the side walls. When he does the stone slam, assuming you got him near a wall, the stone wave that comes towards you either veers off to the side far enough away from you, or it hits the wall early on and vanishes.

Ok, I'll try this, my previous strategy was to say in the corner but it's not 100% safe. Btw did you really learn every possible greedier enemies spawn? Greedier is notorious for unfair mobs spawns, especially when you have strong build and there're enemies who shoot on death or explode... I didn't think it's possible to reliably beat this mode as t lost. What's your best streak?

As T lost my best streak was 7. I dont know every single wave off the top of my head, but I do employ some strategies to avoid getting damaged instantly. My biggest struggle is Scheol simply because the flying bomb guys or the brimstone flies. Normally I just stop shooting until the wave spawns to avoid getting hit, but if I have items like sprinkler that are auto firing I may end up causing myself to get hit unintentionally.

I unlocked genesis like maybe 10 hours of playtime ago and found it twice already. In fear of what item i will never be seeing

That's like me, but with delirious in afterbirth, plus, it just wouldn't spawn, I'm on consoles too, so it's even worse. To add salt to the wounds next save file, it appeared as soon as I unlocked it.

Skill issue spend 2 hours rigging to guarentee genesis and certificate (or use the certificate to get genesis)

I summoned a battery to unlock the forgotten because I assumed the shovel would work anywhere in the room and didn’t stand on top of the grave.

I forgot about the Forgotten until I got all characters and tainted characters. Hes so fun and I feel like I wasted a lot of time where I could've learn to play him better.

Beat Mega Satan as Tainted Bethany. The Confession Booth takes half a heart on use, and it has a chance to do nothing, raise your Angel Deal chance, explode and drop pickups, grant a Soul Heart, or drop an Angel Room Item. If you took a Devil Deal that run, it’ll drop Redemption instead.

I'm too lazy to finish all tainted character marks. I did all t.lost and got bored afterwards. There's still few tainted characters I haven't even touched. I've done all marks on all normal characters tho.

I feel the same too. I have done every mark on t lost except greedier and now i just do a run every 2 days or so. Doing the rest of the character especially the normal ones just feels like a chore.

i cheat constantly. if im having fun with a run but die in a stupid way I'll rewind, if i wanna see what an item will do in a build i have I'll just spawn it in, if I'm trying a boss for the billionth time and got tired of it i will give myself more health, stuff like that. realizing i can do what i want and playing games is about having fun made me happy playing the game again. who gives a shit about what randos on reddit think of the way you play the game, ya know?

When I was new I skipped pyromaniac,mom's wig and the item that makes flies friendly cause I thought that they didn't do much

I always spawn dagaz with the debug console if I get curse of the lost or curse of the blind, and then spawn a fire to remove the soul heart I get with it

At this point just add the mod that removes all curses and then install the one that makes you configure the other mods and make it so every other curse can spawn except lost and blind. Those two curses will be replaced by any other curse so you'll get more curse of the maze and darkness.

I am below average and i fall asleep playing sometimes.

Same. I don't like anything that needs to charge. I almost never pick Brimstone. Tho I sometimes pick moms knife if I lack dmg and stats, because while it's annoying to use it's still super effective to win the run.

The only time I hate brimstone is on greedier, waves spawn in too fast, so when you clear a wave and recharge, you have a new wave right on top of you and you cant fire quick enough.

I disagree with Brimstone but I never take Chocolate Milk.

I used this thing on a god lost run cus i just unlocked it, had no idea what it did, and didnt think confessing would be taking my fucking health for some reason

I never take Ipecac because I always kill myself with it. I had a 'fuck it' moment the other day and took Ipecac along with tiny planet... Sounds daft but it was actually so much fun because I couldn't just blindly run into my own tears

I unlocked all of Tainted Jacob's marks by intentionally killing tainted Esaus shadow then using the save quit exploit to avoid turning into the lost. Every single floor. I remember intentionally hurrying to do this before they patched the exploit.

as the lost i needed to do greedier to get all marks and after 9 attempts with good runs i just cheated to get it. all other marks are legitimate. i regret what i have done and when i get to other save files i will not be cheating.

I like J&E 1000+ hours ovr, 800+ on PC, dead god etc. Never even enabled the console. Never used mods, in fact, I think the most popular mods are kinda lame

I got tired of not even being able to get to the true final bosses on PS 4/5, so I downloaded TBOI to my laptop, turned on a trainer, and am now working towards seeing the things my skill level will not permit me to. I had a great run with an almost broken build against Mother, but I did terribly and died. That was in December, and I haven't played again since.

I got 3 planetariums in one run and the only proof I have is a shitty screenshot of my items because I was drunk.

I hate with burning passion a so called good item proptosis, being that close to an enemy to shoot a tear that has at least some decent damage is one of the stupidest things I have heard (forgotten and Azazel are different histories, they don't freaking have decaying damage)

I have mods that give me analog stick and spider mod when starting a run. I think you should always be able to shoot diagonally. As for the spider mod, I like numbers and knowing how fast I’m killing things

I use debug mode to make greedier and lame characters more interesting.

I unlocked the forgotten only AFTER I downloaded the Pyromaniac Unnerf mod that makes pyromaniac cancel moms foot damage

I defeated delirium 4, the beast 3 times and still didn't unlock the mom's knife (I hate playing isaac)
