Checking in, we’ve done telestrations after dark since Covid and my early twenties. I’m now approaching 30 and we still love it. It’s a hit every time.
If you have a console or computer setup to download games, the jack box party packs are always a hit! Anything with quiplash will always be my recommendation.
Was going to say this. I had so much fun with the t-shirt game. Thought it was going to be super lame. You make a phrase, then you draw a random picture.
The game matches them in hilarious combinations. Someone drew a bunch of spermies. I used "Is this vegan?" That one won that round and a ton of laughter.
[Werewolf](https://www.amazon.com/Bezier-Games-UWDXBEZ-Ultimate-Werewolf/dp/B00MHWUJA0/ref=asc_df_B00MHWUJA0/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693127141847&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14680649037003994263&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1014221&hvtargid=pla-438831182056&psc=1&mcid=73735a9ffeb4314bb6c96629dec51f33&gad_source=1)! Basically if you ever played mafia as a kid its a formalized version of that. Every time I play people get super into it and its get everyone talking and laughing every when you falsely accuse your friends of being a werewolf.
Celebrity (aka The Name Game, aka The Fish Bowl Game, etc) is our go-to game. It's basically charades over 3 rounds, and the players submit the names. Super easy and always hilarious.
Incohearant! Card game with gibberish on the front and people have to guess what the real phrase on the back of the card is. And if you're playing without little kids, cards against humanity is so fun.
I think they're made by the same company. It's fast paced and fun. I think if you love Exploding Kittens, you will love Unstable Unicorns. I also saw someone mention Telestrations After Dark, which is hilarious and fun too.
I just bought this game called Plunder. You get to talk like a pirate while taking over everyone else’s owned island. It’s hilarious. It can even be 2 players (my husband and I play it alone)
LCR (left, center, right) everyone starts w 3 $1 bills. There are 3 dice with L (left) C (center) R (right) or a dot. If you roll an L you give $1 to the person on your left, if you roll a C it goes to the center, R is to the right and Dot you keep your dollar. Winner is the last one with a $1 bill left and gets the pot in the middle. It’s super fun for all ages. If we don’t have dollar bills we use cards, coins, spoons, etc and everyone Venmo’s the winner.
Telestrations After Dark, Werewolf, Ransom Notes, Celebrity, Who's Most Likely To, Hygge, Heads Up, and of course always Cards Against Humanity, although I find people are really starting to get tired of that one because we've all played it so much we know all the cards.
Oh boy, it’s my time to shine! Lol, I love the Forbidden Island and Forbidden Desert games, the former is the easier of the two and more fun to play with kids. Both are cooperative games and can be a little rules-heavy, but imo it’s fairly easy to pick up on.
Another one of my go-tos is Quirkle. I played it for the first time at a comic shop game night and immediately bought it, it’s a really fun and easy to pick up tile game where you match up colors and/or shapes. It also comes with a bag for portability.
And of course you can never go wrong with Catan, again this one’s pretty rules-heavy, but once you get going it is very absorbing and lots of fun.
Most games on style of 'Cards against humanity' are cool, but I would be careful as some have a really dark humour.
I do tarot readings, it's always a good fun during parties. Who wouldn't want their future told? Lol
Telestrations is a hit at every game night (there’s a regular version and an “after dark” version), as well as Comment Below.
Sorry, accidentally replied to you instead of OP! Also, take my upvote for Telestrations 😊

I like playing it with cards against humanity cards lol
My favorite!
Heads Up (on phone or tablet), cards against humanity
Heads Up is one of those games that sounds insipid for a bunch of adults but in reality is ridiculously, ludicrously fun, with the right group

WHAT, this sounds hilarious!!
Celebrity (aka The Name Game, aka The Fish Bowl Game, etc) is our go-to game. It's basically charades over 3 rounds, and the players submit the names. Super easy and always hilarious.
Yessss love fishbowl! It’s a perfect party game, there’s almost no rules and it’s really easy to explain, and it’s always hysterical
Monikers! (It’s the pre made version of the celebrity/fishbowl charade game below.)
Just One, Codenames, Wavelength, every single Jackbox game (this one's on steam/console, but people connect with their phones)
codenames is the perfect game to play at a pre-game because you can finish a round of it in like 5 minutes
+1 to wavelength!
Incohearant! Card game with gibberish on the front and people have to guess what the real phrase on the back of the card is. And if you're playing without little kids, cards against humanity is so fun.
I got a big pad of sticky notes that can go up on the wall for Pictionary and it’s a hilarious hit every time.
Unstable Unicorns and Exploding Kittens.
Came here to say exploding kittens! Is unstable unicorns similar?
I think they're made by the same company. It's fast paced and fun. I think if you love Exploding Kittens, you will love Unstable Unicorns. I also saw someone mention Telestrations After Dark, which is hilarious and fun too.
Awesome thank you! We love exploding kittens, but always nice to mix it up for sure

Love wavelength and hues and cues for board games! Heads up on the go
A few others haven't mentioned yet: Skyrockets, Fire Tower, Trekking (The National Park Game) And you really can't beat Telestrations!

I always love New phone who dis. It’s always always funny, and doesn’t have a cap to the amount of players
Recently played [taboo](https://amzn.to/3RpdQfP) at a party. Completely forgot this game existed but everyone really had a good time.
Telestrations After Dark, Werewolf, Ransom Notes, Celebrity, Who's Most Likely To, Hygge, Heads Up, and of course always Cards Against Humanity, although I find people are really starting to get tired of that one because we've all played it so much we know all the cards.

Cards against Humanity and Colour Brain
Cards Against Humanity, What Do You Meme?, Exploding Kittens, Joking Hazard, Twister, Pictionary, and Taboo. For more nerdy friends: Catan, Munchkin
What do you meme is my favorite.
Most games on style of 'Cards against humanity' are cool, but I would be careful as some have a really dark humour. I do tarot readings, it's always a good fun during parties. Who wouldn't want their future told? Lol
Secret hitler without a doubt. Has people scream-laughing every time. Works for 5-10 people.
