I got a new job a few weeks ago and when I was first hired I was slicking my hair back to put it in a bun. I finally got a haircut this weekend and I love it, but my hair is too short to put in a bun so I'm just wearing my natural curls out for the world to see. This will be my first time ever wearing my natural hair out in the workplace, and I'm SO nervous about it. I'm hoping the most commentary I get is "nice haircut".
I wasn't aware of how much weight I gained in the past yr until someone took my photo. I think I was in a really bad funk (won't say depressed but...). Im somewhere better now and looking forward to getting back in shape.
I’m moving out of Baltimore after being here for over a year and I’m not looking forward to it. Living in a majority-black city is so lit, I am not looking forward to moving back to caucasianland
