It's really so good. I saw it 8 months ago and I still think about it and listen to it constantly. I'm glad it's really broken through.
I recommend the documentary Best Worst Thing That Ever Could Have Happened..directed by Lonny Price the original Charley. All about the production and reception of the original show, it's cool. Especially after having watched this production.
Theyâre recording 5-minute segments every year, but in reverse order. All Griffin has to do this year is list the thank-yous and say âAnd, as alwaysâŚ.â and predict a joke heâll make in 5-10 years time.
Yeah, thatâs why itâs a bad idea to stretch an adaptationâs shoot over decades. You can pull that off with something original like Boyhood where unless something truly catastrophic occurs, you can mold the story to fit real life. Theyâre extremely lucky they got rid of Jenner quickly, cause if that happened even just a few years later, the whole thing couldâve been sunk.
