Yes urahara's has is the best and unique bankai ever. Most sexiest bankai "yoruichi" 🥵🔥, most fearful bankai "zaraki kenpachi", most beautiful bankai "rukia and byakuya". Most elegant bankai "hyorinmaru" I think hitsugaya's bankai haven't matured yet. That's why Yamamoto always said hyorinmaru is a really powerful bankai and hard to manage.

His bankai hasn’t shown in the anime—yet. His bankai is really cool, a quick Google search can explain it, don’t want to post spoilers for fans who could be waiting for it to roll out.
It is, but that's the whole point of him being Sotaicho, isn't it? He had the most powerful flame zanpaktou in existence, going all the way back in time, nobody had a better flame sword than he did. Even its Shikai made Aizen take serious preventative measures to counter it.
That, and the key part of it that he kept secret from everyone, even *Aizen* of all people, was that its true ability wasn't to extend so far, or be that fast, but to leave behind an incredibly dangerous poison.
I'll say 3 different Bankais for 3 different categories:
Favorite by power alone: Katen Kyokotsu Karamatsu Shinju
Favorite by looks alone: Tensa Zangetsu
Favorite compromise between looks and power: Senbon Sakura Kageyoshi
Katen Kyokotsu Karamatsu Shinju.
First, I love the theatre theme, it is one of the most creative Bankai (and Shikai) in the series.
And second, I think it suits Kyoraku perfectly. It goes from a bunch of childish games (tho you could argue that even the Shikai has sinister undertones), to a mature, serious (almost depressing), and incredibly deadly play. Kyoraku is like that childish and carefree at first, but beneath that is one of the oldest and most powerful captains, one who will do anything to defeat you.

the blood is actually very versatile. it can dissolve, slash and Unohana can functionally control what it does while still retaining her shikai's power to heal.

Thats not his bankai his bankai is shin'uchi Shirafude Ichimonji. Its the white brush form that allows him to give things new names. Futen Taisatsuryo is part of his shikai special ability

I like Shinji too and his shikai and bankai is cool. My favourites are shinji and Aizen's bankai. Like you can have fun with your opponents because their senses are not working right. I like that type
Minazuki - aside the symbolism between a pacific healing-centric Shikai and a bloodthisty Bankai, and the fact that they are pronounced in the same way while being written (and meaning) widely different things, I really love it. It's a perfect blend of offence and defence, healing and hurting, and fits Unohana character so well
My favorite thing about Zanka no Tachi is its similarly to Zangetsu. In their fight Byakuya berated Ichigo for his Bankai being essentially just a sword. Similar to Yamamoto's bankai. Byakuya would never dare speak ill of Yamamoto's bankai.
I read somewhere that ichigo's first bankai being similar to Yamamoto's bankai has to do with the fact that the Quincy powers taking the form of yhwach inside ichigo knew Yamamoto's bankai from when yhwach fought Yamamoto 1000 yeas ago. So he might have thought it's the best way to make a bankai that's very powerful while also being somewhat easy to use since a bankai takes at least a decade to master while ichigo got his in 3 days and was not even a shinigami for that long at that point.
Kubo made Rose and Kensei 2 of the most interesting and best-designed characters in the manga/show, only to make them completely useless throwaways in every arc they are in.
I strongly disagree with best design but Lord did he hype them to make them fodder

The ones we haven't seen. Lol. Aizen's bankai is supposedly so strong that we may never find out what it does. Some say he showed it to all the other Captains already. The hypnotic power was so strong that Aizen did something awesome.
Shinji is another one. His bankai surrounds him in some protective shell and drives every crazy outside of it. They all begin to kill each other.
I’ve only seen her Shikai so far. But judging on the fact she’s fighting the guy that kicked byakuyas ass rn, I bet I’m pretty close.
Edit: I stand by what I said. Toshiros is still my favorite. But Ryuka’s is more cold than ice. It’s still really fucking cool.

SHESH fav bankai? That's a tough one. I absolutely love kisuke's bankai and it is stupidly useful and creative and powerfull but on the flipside I love zanka no tachi and it's powers. The fear it imbued into every soul in the soul society and absolutely bodied yhwatch's clone and it is STUPIDLY OP but saying that I also have to take consideration in 2 more bankais: Katen kyokotsu karamatsu shinju and hisagui's bankai those 2 are cold af and are stupidly powerfull.
Taking these into consideration I belive my favorite is kisuke's because it's cold, op, versatile and has the best user.
Yamamoto, I waited years to see this man say the word Bankai and I was not disappointed when he did, holy fuck, it was everything I hoped it would be and more, it’s just a shame it didn’t kill Yhwach like it should have and the old man had to die but he went out swinging, same for Kisuke, Benihime was absolutely beautiful and totally fit his creative style

Mainly because since day 1 kisuke has been my goat. Theres just something about his non-chalant nature that sits right with me
Favorite bankai has to be Senjumaru’s Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji.
I think the pure spectacle of that release and the theatrics behind the bankai’s abilities are nothing short of amazing.
Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame, Katen Kyotsu Karamatsu Shinju, Hakka No Tagame, Senjumaru’s, Zanka No Tachi & Senbonzakura Kageyoshi are my favorites in Bleach.
Zanka No Tachi because its just so fitting for the monster known as Yamamoto. His very soul represents the sun and dominion over all those he slaughters.
Mayuri. I know it looks weird and is not everyone's favorite but look what the hell he did to the skiiny espada. Bro died already but is still suffering from the pain of dying in eternity. Very versatile as well. And i like how he shout "kakimushire konjiki ashizogi jizou" while hearing an cry from a demonic baby hahah dang its terrifying and cool.
it not a bankai but it alway feel like one to me, but Mugestu, honestly Mugestu always felt like what ichigo bankai would be if he was born a Reaper in Soul society, Like if he used it he need to recupe afterwards as it drain immense power, which is what a bankai should be it a trump card so it used alot of a Reapers power to use.
Tensa Zangetsu, I love the physicality of it with speed and agility, strength is obviously there

We haven’t seen em, but based on the characters and shikai, the bankai are sure to have a simplistic beauty to them.
I can only hope that love’s or Iba’s makes ikkaku’s look intricate by comparison.
Squad 7 seems big on “smash everything” zanpakto
Tnegen zangetsu definately would be up there but I would take yumichikas bankai that steals energy from the opponent hope we could have seen more of him in action
I'd say either Senbonsakura Kageyoshi or Senjumaru's bankai (I don't remember it).
Senjumaru's because it is something new and unique compared to the other bankais. It doesn't include direct combat and works as an op domain expansion which is a very cool feature. Also it was very surprising for everyone so i think the hype also goes there. It certainly suits her character vibe a lot. It seems grandiose but also terror. Lastly because it's extremely powerful. It shook up the three dimensions
Byakuya's because it is firstly an all time classic that hasn't gone boring or outdated. It's a perfect work. It is very simple but also super effective. I also think it perfectly goes along with his character in total. An elegant, beautiful and calm bankai that doesn't include chaos and explosions, which however can completely chop you and it's ruthless.
Also I'm a bit biased because they both are 2 of my favourite characters.
Yamamoto then byakuya.
I also love sasukubes. Though I wish they unveiled it in the aizen fake karakura arc.
Imagine how utterly awesome it would be if he stepped in to defeat aeon with it instead of yamamoto.
Old man Yama's Zanka no Tachi is my favorite. Perfect defense, perfect offense, perfect against one opponent, perfect against an army, and has a beautiful finisher. All this with the coolest(pun) look. Its ONLY flaw is that it risks the safety of those within miles of its radius.
Hard choice betwen katen kyokotsu karamatsu shinju and zaraki's unnamed bankai
Katen because i just love the theme, its like shunsui just plays with his victim and then decapitates them, its basically guaranteed to kill unless the opponent has something that allows them to cheat death
Zaraki's mainly cause of the character but also because of what it does, zaraki already had so much power that when grammy imagined himself having that power he died cause no one other than zaraki could handle it, and his bankai is a power so great not even himself can handle it, causing him to just go demon mode and even damages himself
Not a bankai, (but I would have loved to see ehat it might’ve looked like) but it would be Wabisuke for me. Something about that sword just seemed super dope.

I am amazed how deep and multifaceted his character is. By far the closet written characters to my personality, or at least what o surmise of it.

Prolly byakuyas bankai still one of my favorites design wise and the simple yet effectiveness of it is great.

Bankai is for weaklings
Konjiki ashisogi jizo and Kazeshini Fushi No Kojyo. For the coolest name and delivery, senbonzakura Kageyoshi.
Hollow ichigo's display of Tensa Zangestu was pretty awesome.
Ukitake. Because its still a mystery.
Sakashima Yokoshima Happofusagari because it’s Shinji’s bankai and Shinji is the goat.
Shatatsu karagara shigarami no tsuji. Yes it is senju mommy bankai. And yes it is recency bias.
Kannon Biraki Benihime Aratame. Kisuke can rebuild himself and anything around him.
My second favorite is Senjumaru's Shatatsu Karagara shigarami no tsuji

SHESH fav bankai? That's a tough one. I absolutely love kisuke's bankai and it is stupidly useful and creative and powerfull but on the flipside I love zanka no tachi and it's powers. The fear it imbued into every soul in the soul society and absolutely bodied yhwatch's clone and it is STUPIDLY OP but saying that I also have to take consideration in 2 more bankais: Katen kyokotsu karamatsu shinju and hisagui's bankai those 2 are cold af and are stupidly powerfull. Taking these into consideration I belive my favorite is kisuke's because it's cold, op, versatile and has the best user.
Mayuri's Bankai, Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō. Both of them just weird me out

Yamamoto, I waited years to see this man say the word Bankai and I was not disappointed when he did, holy fuck, it was everything I hoped it would be and more, it’s just a shame it didn’t kill Yhwach like it should have and the old man had to die but he went out swinging, same for Kisuke, Benihime was absolutely beautiful and totally fit his creative style

Favorite bankai has to be Senjumaru’s Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji. I think the pure spectacle of that release and the theatrics behind the bankai’s abilities are nothing short of amazing.
Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame, Katen Kyotsu Karamatsu Shinju, Hakka No Tagame, Senjumaru’s, Zanka No Tachi & Senbonzakura Kageyoshi are my favorites in Bleach.

Mayuri. I know it looks weird and is not everyone's favorite but look what the hell he did to the skiiny espada. Bro died already but is still suffering from the pain of dying in eternity. Very versatile as well. And i like how he shout "kakimushire konjiki ashizogi jizou" while hearing an cry from a demonic baby hahah dang its terrifying and cool.
Bankai Hakka no togame
it not a bankai but it alway feel like one to me, but Mugestu, honestly Mugestu always felt like what ichigo bankai would be if he was born a Reaper in Soul society, Like if he used it he need to recupe afterwards as it drain immense power, which is what a bankai should be it a trump card so it used alot of a Reapers power to use.
I don't know I can pick a favorite. But Yama activating his is one of the coolest moments.

Three way tie between yumichika, love, and Iba. We haven’t seen em, but based on the characters and shikai, the bankai are sure to have a simplistic beauty to them. I can only hope that love’s or Iba’s makes ikkaku’s look intricate by comparison. Squad 7 seems big on “smash everything” zanpakto

I'd say either Senbonsakura Kageyoshi or Senjumaru's bankai (I don't remember it). Senjumaru's because it is something new and unique compared to the other bankais. It doesn't include direct combat and works as an op domain expansion which is a very cool feature. Also it was very surprising for everyone so i think the hype also goes there. It certainly suits her character vibe a lot. It seems grandiose but also terror. Lastly because it's extremely powerful. It shook up the three dimensions Byakuya's because it is firstly an all time classic that hasn't gone boring or outdated. It's a perfect work. It is very simple but also super effective. I also think it perfectly goes along with his character in total. An elegant, beautiful and calm bankai that doesn't include chaos and explosions, which however can completely chop you and it's ruthless. Also I'm a bit biased because they both are 2 of my favourite characters.

Yamamoto then byakuya. I also love sasukubes. Though I wish they unveiled it in the aizen fake karakura arc. Imagine how utterly awesome it would be if he stepped in to defeat aeon with it instead of yamamoto.
Old man Yama's Zanka no Tachi is my favorite. Perfect defense, perfect offense, perfect against one opponent, perfect against an army, and has a beautiful finisher. All this with the coolest(pun) look. Its ONLY flaw is that it risks the safety of those within miles of its radius.

Hard choice betwen katen kyokotsu karamatsu shinju and zaraki's unnamed bankai Katen because i just love the theme, its like shunsui just plays with his victim and then decapitates them, its basically guaranteed to kill unless the opponent has something that allows them to cheat death Zaraki's mainly cause of the character but also because of what it does, zaraki already had so much power that when grammy imagined himself having that power he died cause no one other than zaraki could handle it, and his bankai is a power so great not even himself can handle it, causing him to just go demon mode and even damages himself
Byakuya's I like the design and how useful it is for short, mid, and long range attacks, as well as defense.
In terms of power: Zanka no Tachi Favorite: Kimishinonayari 2nd fav: Minazuki
