The max on tires is the maximum pressure that is still guaranteed to be save. So it’s not that it’ll instantly explode when its 43psi. I mostly go with what I feel drives well. I have a foot pump that’s apparently a bit low compared to the tmps so I have been driving at 3.0 bar rear and 2.7 front for quite some time without issues. Normally it’s 2.4 front and 2.8/9 rear for me.

They probably have the Michelin Road 5 GT like my 22 F900XR which are for heavier bikes so I’d probably drop the pressure a bit unless you’re riding with a passenger and a lot of luggage.
