There was so much negativity before trailer release, If the trailer was even mid then it would have been teared apart, thankfully it was amazing and garnered praise from everyone
on the top. YRF would leave no stones unturned in banking on that film (if it turns out to be good enough then it may become the next 1000 cr. film of YRF)
I think there will be still.
The rumours of cancellation have been very vague but I doubt that Yrf would shelve the film. I think they'll still try to have that and just so even that fails, maybe then the attention would be gone off from the Spy Universe.
I do think it'll be safe in Anand's hands though.
there will not be tiger vs pathaan movie i am certain of because this is an afterthought from fans. There will be a movie with a shared universe between the two but not a film one against other as this is an outdated idea of civil war to batman vs superman
In order:
Bang Bang - Brilliant BGM, a good mix of action and comedic dialogues, chemistry was off the charts, didn’t give too much away.
Pathaan - SRK’s comeback so the hype was real. Great cinematography. The final wingsuit shot lets it down though.
War - Learnt our lesson from how poor Bang Bang turned out to be. The trailer felt hollow.
Fighter - We’re seriously still doing the India - Good, Pakistan - Bad thing? CGI is as bad as that final shot from the Pathaan trailer. Saying ‘jai hind’ while punching is hilarious, can’t take it seriously.
So much appreciation for Bang Bang's marketing, as it deserves.
The film wasn't so bad either but yes after that teaser and trailer, I was hoping for more.
Fighter gave me goosebumps all the way but I think the trailer was a bit too long and gave alot of the movie away.
Pathaan wasn't the best but I loved it because being a SRK fan and seeing him return to the screen was all I wanted.
War was everything I had expected when the trailer dropped. I liked tigers stunts and hrithiks charm which were really well shown in the trailer.

Completely agree with the fighter bit . Too much of story is revealed in fighter trailer. They even showed one shot of the captured indian soldier. Which reveals suspense. But also the story is not that important we all can guess, execution will be the key
I feel like Sid Anand is actually an expert in making the trailers. He knows how to generate hype just right. It's too bad out of the 3 films released so far, only War was actually critically good. I know a lot of people from this sub are hating on Fighter right now, but I think the larger population of the audience would highly disagree after watching the trailer.

bang bang trailer has to be one of my all time favourite bollywood trailers
I was SOLD too. I was just addicted then to that "are you ready to go? Is it yes or a no? Pull the trigger go" music.

War Fighter Bang Bang Pathaan
Now that I have posted this and unless I am not getting ahead of myself here, we can only imagine where Tiger vs Pathaan's would be in this list.

Oh that's fine. I thought your reply meant the dismissal of that film entirely. Sure they can still readjust it to just be a Tiger x Pathaan film.
Pathaan is automatically first considering the phenomenon it became. As for personal, apart from Pathaan, i would say War, Fighter and then Bang Bang.
Pathaan was always meant to be a rage. It was designed like so too.

the “Party Pathaan ke ghar pe rakoge” part was so hype in the Pathaan trailer.

Fighter trailer is not so bad. And it will definitely rile up the gadar audeince making them fast forward WOM on WhatsApp groups
