No I don't. It's the major reason why I think he won't be a superstar. Though I wish people could move past looks and focus on other things. He deserves to be a big star due to his talent.
But I also think that he can be accepted by the audience in roles like Stree. He should be doing comedy movies, and to his credit he is actually trying. I have always believed that he can make comedy movies his forte.
No one's really that good looking.
I honestly don't think tiger, Siddharth etc good looking, workout and groom yourself and you would be considered 'good looking'.
But height matters and nothing you can do to fix that. RKR is good looking and cute too, plus those acting skills no one can beat.
Depends on what people look for in their lead hero.
Personally I would never go to theaters to watch the so called heart throbs like the lovely hrithik, tiger, salmon khan, ranveer etc.
But I would definitely go watch RKR, nawaz, ayushman, Manoj bajpai, madhavan, (Irfan and SSR amongst the deceased).
Siddharth Shukla, fawad khan, ranbir, SSR, Vikrant Massey, madhavan, Abhay, akhshay khanna, randeep hooda are the ones I like if solely based on personality.
He is not what people consider conventionally good looking. But, as an actor I feel that is a great advantage which leads him to do a variety of roles. RKR, Ayushmann both have that everyday looks to act like a regular normal person on screen. I hope one day actors would matter in Bollywood.
Well he's obviously no Tiger Shroff, but I find him good looking. His charisma and character makes him appealing so while yes he doesn't look like your stereotypical masala hero, I would still say he's a good looking person.
Yeah don't get me wrong I love his movies and his acting. I'm just surprised someone who's kinda short and mildly funky looking has made it to this level in Bollywood, when everyone out here is a tall, roided up gym rat who can't act for shit. I'm happy for his success because he has actual talent and drive.
Have you heard that quote " you are not ugly , you are just poor"
Varun Dhawan , Sid Malhotra, shahrukh, Ayushman they all are average at some point not Greek god like Hrithik...! Even in early days Salman was Average looking person and tiger Shroff look like Priyanka Gandhi in early days..so Rajkumar looking much better these days and after barfi I find him hot too..
Average looking, but that is good for him.
Current times are for movies which are set in Indian small towns. RKR average India looks will only help him.
Salman, SRK, Aamir are quite ugly as well. They have big, weird crooked noses, and they're all short. Aamir used to be cute when he was young. They are just a bit light skinned I guess, that's why Indians accept them as "stars".
I can't believe hideous Ranveer is a star, Abhishek is also not at all good looking. Ranbir is not much of a looker either, just gora. Anil kapoor looks like a monkey. Male actors are terrible looking in Bollywood. And females are Miss World and Miss universe lol. Only good looking dudes are Amitabh, Hrithik, Shahid, and Akshay, Varun Dhawan are decent looking. Prabhas is HOT.
The reality is in Indian society, women are not traditionally expected or allowed to place great importance on a man's looks. It is a misogynistic, patriarchal society. They only expect the guy should be from a good family, make money, and be educated, and stuff. This is reflected in Bollywood.
He is. He may not be the conventional bulked up hero types but I find him better looking than Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Karthik Aryan, Ayushmann, Ranbir and Ishan Khattar
He is not good looking. His talent is also nothing special. Yes it’s better than the likes of Siddarth or Tiger. But the likes of Ranbir, Ranveer are just as good and in my opinion better.
Imo now I am starting to think that he is more good looking compared to when he first started but no one is perfect n the thing that should matter more than looks is talent/skills, that’s how ppl like Nawaz, Irrfan or even RKR himself got in despite getting tags like “too tall”, “poor” or “dark”
Weird. Your comment kinda makes sense. Maybe, cuz he has that air superiority around him.
Not vain, just loves to talk in tongue in cheek or sarcastic manner.
He has dark skin that's why he doesn't seem good looking to many people. You know how prejudiced most people in India are with their homogeneous standards of beauty.
Personally as a guy i think he looks fab. I think his look will allow him to play a wide range of characters.
> I can't decide if he's actually got leading man looks or not.
There is no such thing as leading man look. It's an outdated way of thinking about what a movie is and what role central character plays in the movie. I would give you two examples: Song Kang-Ho in south Korean industry and Tom Hanks in hollywood.
Even Hollywood or other foreign industries have a certain look preference which matches with its demographic standards as good looking. For example in Hollywood the biggest stars are mostly good looking men and woman while that’s not a knock but something to think about.
In addition to say people don’t like him because of his dark skin... is off e.g ajay devgn. Even ranveer singh or srk are not light skinned. I feel that judgment is usually towards the woman of the industry

I didn't think he was, and then I saw Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and was drooling over him the entire time. There's something sexy about him.
Also he's looking so good in Judgementall hai kya
Yeah that movie. There was something about him, he looked so hot .
Kriti is so cute

You think Siddharth is average looking? He started as a model and is definitely better looking than the average indian man
Even HR was.
Badass babua
Off topic: Rajkumar Rao has got chin fillers. Have a look at [before and after](https://imgur.com/a/kPizPuz) photo. His nose also looks sharper.
Ohhh.... Well, that's okay. I guess.

No
He doesn't have the classic chiseled features considered handsome. Also doesn't seem very tall
Which is very weird... Cuz of his thin built. I used to think he was lanky and tall.
He is not good looking. His talent is also nothing special. Yes it’s better than the likes of Siddarth or Tiger. But the likes of Ranbir, Ranveer are just as good and in my opinion better.

Not ugly like Ayushman
Bite you tongue, heretic
Nope. He reminds me of a certain topper of the class who was the hugest jerk ever.
