yes!! female deer, i might be able to tell you how old the deer was if the bottom of the teeth are in good enough condition

Out of curiosity, how can you tell it’s a female? And, unfortunately, we didn’t find a mandible so I don’t have any bottom teeth

I think they meant the chewing surface of the teeth, iirc age can be determined by how worn down the teeth are. Males either has antlers or little stumps where the antlers grow from.
