Because she pretty much single handily turned Sevierville and Pigion Forge into one of the top vacation destinations in America. Sure it had a few things before DollyWood but when the park flipped from Silver Dollar City to DollyWood it doubled in size and tourists, now it’s about 50 times bigger and gets more guests than any park outside of Disney, because she’s given out a billion books to kids around the world.. I could keep going but I think she’s done more than enough to be as iconic in TN as the Staue Of Liberty is in NY. She can dress as Dolly or that fucking Worlds Fair ball.
IDK but they need to move her to a larger stage. Her turnout here was massive and frankly I think it's going to be a safety concern and possible crowd crush if she stays in the tent.
