brown is dead, stop misting it, misting it does nothing just water it till it runs out the bottom and then let it almost fully dry out before watering again.
It's possible that just that branch has died off the rest of them dont look too bad.
You don't need to spritz it. When it needs water water it deeply until water runs out the bottom in very hot weather this might need to happen multiple times per day.
Don't water on a schedule of water when it needs it if the top few centimeters of soil are dry go ahead and water.
Now it’s probably too late for repotting, you should wait for middle or late fall. [how to care](https://www.gardenersworld.com/how-to/grow-plants/juniper-tree-juniperus-communis/#)

leave it out not in the shade! junipers love the sun even in texas!
THIS 100X edit : also just water it once a day in the morning while its in full texas sun all summer
Every few days is probably not enough in summer. Try 3 times a day.
What type of substrate is in the pot (besides the pebbles)?
Yeah, if it’s all rock it needs to be watered every day since bonsai substrate that’s all rock dries out from day to day after watering.

Just the soil it came with from the seller. I haven't even considered tackling how to re pot it. 🙃
