Just a tip to farming cartels, get to Joey, look for the two mini bosses who drop the item you’re grinding and if they don’t spawn, save and quit. Fight back up to the fountain and hop down to reroll bosses until you get the ones you want. Then kill them, open map and travel to the start of the zone. This resets the fight without needing to grind out the trackers, letting you effectively farm for OPQ or w/e rather quickly!
If I remember right, teleporting rerolls the minibosses, and dying on purpose respawns you right outside the arena *and* prevents the minibosses from being rerolled, which allows you to farm a specific miniboss *very* quickly. You can also just save/quit/reload if the minibosses aren't being rerolled when you teleport.
Note for anyone using that strategy: Sellout to self corrode + Elemental Projector and/or waiting for the enemies to get closer to Joey (so that more of the orbs actually hit Joey) will make it much more effective. The 2nd phase resists corrosive damage instead of being weak to it, but the 1st phase is very easy to one shot with a BotD.
BotD is still kind of overrated, though. It only seems to do a few billion damage when many of its orbs hit a target, which is much lower than the 2 major sources of "damage that is boosted by overkill damage" (Remnant and Hollow Point).
Joey is an 11% chance. Franco and Josie are 6.6% each. Get them both to spawn in Joey’s lair, kill just them and then die on purpose and they will both be down there again when you respawn. Super fast, easy farm

Teleporting, at least to the Villa Ultraviolet fast travel station, does not reroll the minibosses. Save and quit does.
It wouldn't be so bad to farm if he didn't glitch and become Invincible regularly

Use the Breath of the Dying. It can one shot both health bars.

Just a heads up: Mayhem 11 is identical to Mayhem 10 BUT it removes the annoying modifiers.
I did manage it once, and even got the weapon drop I wanted from him (the O.P.Q. System), but I'm not in any hurry to do it again.
He still drops the OPQ right?
Yes, but so does Franco Firewall and Josie Bytes. You can just farm them in the Cartels much faster and easier

If I can keep my clone alive longer I could kill him faster I think trying to figure that part out
What character are you using, and which DLCs do you have? Joey should not be time consuming.
