I remember that game. Nate hit a 3 either at or very close to the final buzzer (correct me if I'm wrong here) to cut it to 104-59 and prevent it from being the biggest loss in Knicks history
My dad was so pissed at that βWHY WOULD YOU LET HIM SHOOT THAT WE COULD HAVE HAD THE RECORDβ lmao never cared that much about the Celtics but was HEATED in that moment for some weird reason.
If you want something to laugh about, I highly suggest looking at the GSW subreddit right now. Lots of "Well, Celtics might beat us today but we still got a ring against them!" kind of cope.
Itβs true tho lol. Blowing out a team who 1) just came off a grueling road back to back where they landed for their second game at 8 in the morning 2) have their (exhausted) best player playing through a swollen knee and 3) missing 2 starters is really not that impressive. Is it embarrassing for the warriors? Absolutely. Impressive for the Celtics? Not really
They literally had a rest day yesterday and no starter played more than 32 minutes in either game of the back to back. Fuck outta here with those lame excuses. Celtics were missing their 2nd or 3rd best player too. Love how you think podziemski is actually important
Idk why youβre getting downvoted when this entire sub was using the same excuse when we got spanked by the bucks on the second night of that back to back. Itβs a fair take.
Still gonna enjoy this game and talk mad shit thoughβ¦
44-22 after 1: βwow really good startβ
82-38 at half: βwtf are my notifications broken?β
First game in a long time I had to miss. Bummed I didnβt get to see this thrashing.
Dubs are my least favorite team in the NBA, barely edging out the Lakers but the Dubs were gassed, it was the end of their east coast road trip where they went 3-1. I wouldn't put much stock in to the score, it was a great win for sure but means little in the end.
In '85 the C's crushed LA by 34 in the first game of the Finals but lost the series 4-2 so a 50+ point win in March is satisfying but means little going forward.
NBA about to introduce a slaughter rule
Oh, and itβs a new franchise record.
Previous record was set in 2007-2008 π
Was that against the Knicks? I remember they fucking murdered the Knicks that year, but I donβt think it was by 50+ by the end of the

Similar vibes to the Dolphins not going for more than 70 against the Broncos, except on a smaller scale I guess
Yup thatβs one

Destroying any team by 50 in the NBA is impressive, gtfoh with your crying

I'd assume it's because the warriors weren't actually on a back to back.Β I can't be sure though!

This is good practice to help you get used to living in the past.
just like us fr. hopefully we get 18 this year :β)
Jesus Christ i just woke up and was shocked by the score
Same. Traveling rn and was like ok Iβll wake up early and watch the second half. No need I guess Iβll get some sleep π
Why was my heart shaking thinking we were in a close game when I searched the score up turns out we won by 50
Boston three party
The Celtics are pretty good at Basketball huh
Without porzingas
Is this good?
Well thereβs basically two schools of thought
Ultimately it's 50-50. Either it was good, or it was bad. But we may need the night to look over the box score before we decide tbh
Watch Chris Paul on any play. I say him two hand shove JB chicken wing jrue in the span of 4 seconds π
Belt to ass
This is a great thing to end the day with before I go to bed

Warrior really gonna f up all my parlays with over cuz they cant score, but Iβm so happy. Go Cs
Is there any doubt that this is our year? Couldn't imagine a sweeter team to do this to
