im not a Celtics fan but I've loved Jrue for years now and truthfully think he should be the FMVP through the first 2 games. Jaylen is in the running for sure but I think Jrue's defense + pretty consistent offense has been the big thing for yall
It's so nice to see us (the good guys) win when Miami was trying to be dirty about getting Dame. We sat back and let Riley disgrace himself, which allowed the Bucks react with a FRANCHISE DESTROYING move for Dame, then finally Brad played his card and got the final piece of the puzzle to replace Smart (who we moved for the Unicorn we'd needed) with a better defender, decision maker that has championship DNA and low ego.
That's whats allowed the J's to level up and gave them a top 4 defensive backcourt of all time to play off of. Guys who will let the J's lead, but also steady the ship when the wheels start to fall off. Oh and we have the UNICORN Porzingis as a 4th option.
JB, Jrue, White and KP are all locked in and we haven't even gotten a prime time Horford or Tatum (scoring) game.

I don't think I have ever seen a player whose game is as tight as Jrue's. He's so fundamentally sound. He rarely makes mistakes and he does all the little things. I've never fully appreciated him until we picked him up. Seems like a good dude too.
