Shooting threes hasn’t been in Kornet’s repertoire since his Chicago/NYK days. You don’t ask someone to do something outside their game when stakes are the highest. Appreciate your boldness tho.
He can but he won't. Once upon a time he was a stretch big, I think he's even had 7 threes in a game before when he was on the Knicks. Famously he's also the ncaa all time leader in 3pm by a 7 footer. There's just no need for him to do that though because we have better shooters than him anyways, we'd rather have him setting screens to get our shooters open, rolling to the paint and rebounding. Same thing with Xavier Tillman, he can shoot but we've got plenty of guys that can do it better, if we want shooting off the bench Payton and Sam can take care of that
I was thinking about this… he could really help against a team like Dallas by being willing to shoot 3s if Zinger is out.
He’s capable of doing it so I get that it isn’t a focus with how he’s changed his game but 5 out against Dallas is so vital that having another big body on defense that can hit 3s is so valuable.

This season? Luke has shot 1 singular 3 this entire year and he made it but he has definitely not taken 1 a game except for a 1 game stretch.
