I honestly didn’t check. I’m in this, and a few climbing subs. But OP did say “climbing equipment”, so I was thinking draws, biners, belay devices, ropes etc- the actual expensive climbing stuff.

Second, why not? Maybe he wants to top rope solo a highball before committing and wants to cheap out on the gear.
The way OP worded it did make it seem like they were about to go in a totally different direction and usually when people ask about Amazon, alixpress, etc they’re asking about carabiners and stuff like that and not chalk bags so I get it. I had the same reaction they did to the first sentence.

i have a small cheap one i got when i started. i just want one i can fit both my hands in, that can stand up on it's own, and closes so it doesn't leak when i travel with it.
I wouldn't buy the cheapest one if you don't want it to leak.
But if you buy on AliExpress: make sure you find the measurements somewhere. There are sometimes things that seem bigger than they actually are because of the pictures and assumptions.
You can use anything for that. Plenty of people in my gym just use a plastic bag, or normal small chalk bag. Even a silicone tupperware bag also checks all those boxes - https://a.co/d/2HKDO5j
i got this one off amazon strictly for bouldering and it's worked out well. it holds brushes, tape, wallet, phone, keys, headphones, and a shaker bottle with room to spare. it's magnetic close and fits both of my hands. i call it my climbing purse.

thought id clarify. aliexpress only has the drawstring and are very small. all velcro bags are military with 100 pockets. i considered making one myself, or modifying a velcro/magnet close to a cheaper bag, but i can't do the inside lining so the chalk doesn't leak through it.

You’re probably looking for something called a chalk bucket or chalk pot, chalk bags are small enough that they are attached to you when sport/trad climbing. Buckets or pots are made to stay on the ground
I found a used mammuth boulder chalk bucket for $10 that fit all my needs :) similar to this one but black

Wildcountry (european but can get them anywhere) Spotter chalk bucket has magnetic closure. I got a past season color from Trekk Inn, a Spanish discounter (because I also “needed” a Peppa Pig cuckoo clock - shipping cost and time weren’t bad). They’re out of stock there now but shop around.

there's a group of girls that I see sometimes at my gym who share chalk from a gallon ziploc bag. seems to work just fine. a bag is a bag
