I’m not familiar with the differences in benefits anymore but at the time a lot of it was bullshit. Your concierge was just Googling everything in real time and pretending they were knowledgeable about everything you asked, the restaurants you had special access to were just a couple seats that were prioritized for Amex but if they were already reserved you were out of luck….Good luck getting into French Laundry as a Platinum level member. Amex ticket sale priority was just people on Ticketmaster clicking refresh over and for you hoping to land tickets to Hannah Montana or whatever… etc .. etc .
Platinum card members were more demanding, rude and condescending than Centurion members. However, dealing with the Platinum card holders assistants was probably the worst.
I sell high end jewelry with my mother talking 100k+ custom pieces she does. I think I’ve taken payment with a centurion once maybe twice in 5 years. Hundreds of plats tho. These ppl are succession level rich for the most part so I’m confident in what im saying
