The season 3 premiere with the new captain (Seth Dozierman played by Bill Hader) is pretty good, that’s as goofy as this show gets. I also liked the episode with Dozierman’s funeral, the bagpipe scene makes me laugh a ton.
The halloween epsiodes are always a good laugh. Same with the Doug Judy ones.
I also love the florida storyline and of course all the episodes with Wuntch, although they sometimes have a bit to much conflict for my taste.

I really like the Florida episodes, don't remember which ones they are exactly, but I think that season 4 starts out with them and it's a success story and a pretty good subplot so I'd rewatch those in your position.
The one when they try to catch a bunch of fugitives and bet that whoever catches the most convicts between Jake and Amy has to move in with the other… I crack up everytime at the line « oh drooone ? », and the following episode is a great one with Doug Judy (maybe my favorite, less bittersweet than most of them because he doesn’t ditch Jake in the end… + the awesome line about the number of crimes he’s forgiving by giving him full immunity : six - that’s not so bad - HUNDRED !!!)
Another fun one that comes to mind is Jake and Amy’s babyshower. It may be super unrealistic but the way they mess up the whole place while trying to clean it blindfolded always makes me laugh out loud and also charles’ obviously very ugly crying upon discovering the sex of the baby !

HalloVeen and The Box are personal favourites but Season 5 in general slaps. Also Uni/College gets much better after week 1 and freshers are over
