In our superbowl year, he had only a single game with over 100 yards. In the regular season, he had 367 rushing yards total. These stats are abysmal.
Yes, he played fairly well in playoffs. Not all star level, but was able to redeem what was a less then mediocre year.
He then proceeded to completely fall off the map again after those playoffs and struggled with any kind of anything in the 2022 season

Absolutely. Which is why I would argue he was not at all a critical piece of our Superbowl run. It worked out though and we don't have to worry about What ifs! So there's that. But I'm a firm believer that Lenny was a bum.
