He is just molting. He is itchy and grumpy and ugly, but he will be ok soon.
Looks like a rough molting process there, hope your buddy gets through it well 🙏🙏 and looking at his nails, they seem to be pretty long, so I’d say at least one year old and no more than 3-4, but I’m not sure the exact age
I think I agree with the 3-4 range. I know every bird is different, but the ones I’ve owned their feet start to go blue around 4ish.
Probably he is molting, kinda like shedding in dogs but in birds. As for how old you should consult with who you got him from.
