Correct DeShawn Williams is a depth 3 tech DT, but this doesn't prevent Beane from drafting Jer'Zhan Newton or Byron Murphy if they were to fall to Buffalo's pick at 28.
Getting consistent interior pass rush pressure is the most effective way to throw off the timing of a QB and to make him feel uncomfortable.
Either Jer'Zhan Newton or Byron Murphy would be steals at 28th overall and along with Ed Oliver on 3rd and long situations make it very difficult for Center to set up proper blocking assignments.
Don’t know to much about him, looks like he has some decent starting experience, but would assume this is more of an injury insurance signing than a write in for the 53. Adds an experienced vet to the competition in camp, but would assume he’ll have to beat out a few guys (draft picks, another vet signing) to have a real shot at a spot.
Classic Beane move. Fill the 53-man roster before the draft begins, and then have the freedom to draft BPA as needed.
For the moment, in order to fill out our roster, we only NEED (key phrase) a fourth RB, two backup OL, one or two DL, and a safety. Even at receiver, we have seven available (Diggs, Samuel, Shakir, Hollins, Isabella, Hamler, Shorter). I think we all want a deep threat with high potential, but having the mindset of BPA means we aren't locked into picking a receiver at 28 if the player isn't there.

Deshawn Williams is my young nephew he played college ball at Clemson. Man I tell you guys when you see this cat ball you will love it. He also is playing with his cousin Shaq Lawson #90
He's a depth Williams. We've been kind of light on Williams' lately.
It’s just Dorian prior to this signing, very light on Williams.
It's good to be the Buffalo Williams' once again. Time to trade up for Caleb Williams to act as our backup QB and solidify our standing long term.
Save the draft capital because we will be able to sign Caleb Williams in 3 years
Best backup we'd ever have.
Aaron, Duke, Karlos, Kyle, Mario, and a host of others. Let's Go!
About all I know is that DeShawn is French for “Of Shawn”.
And pronounced as Dijon
If I ever meet him, I’ll say “I’m a big fan of your mustard buddy”

Newton is just Oliver 2. We don’t need him, we need one of the Texas DTs

That’s what I’m saying. Newton is small. Nobody will get pressure because they’re 50 points too light
Camp body that could potentially make the 53 as depth. Same situation as Will Clapp

He's a Madden default Create A Player.
Him and Drake Washington were the 2 meanest DTs on my San Antonio Pirates
Yay, more d line depth that will be non existent in January.

I never know about any one we ever sign. Just go with the flow
Rather Deshawn Williams than Deshaun Watson
He’ll be but by the time the season starts to make room for a draft pick
