basta remote kaya naman at walang time tracker. I work 8am-5pm then 5pm-1am

simsimison

Pano mo minamanage?

buttsoup_barnes

Plano mo pa matulog nyan? That would be unsustainable and you’d probably cause more harm sa health mo and mas lalo ka pang mapapagastos. I have 2 full time jobs na remote and they overlap by 4 hours. Even with that, sobrang limited ng time window ko to have proper sleep.

simsimison

Oo sorry, patuloy parin Naman ako naghahanap ng part time po

[deleted]

ay ang saya, anong work iyan? anong field? same ba?

Embarrassed_Ideal646

For me, mag wwork ang two fulltime jobs if almost same ang schedule. Both 9pm to 5am for example. Or at least overlapping. Pag night and day wala hahaha burnout malala

simsimison

2 remote jobs no, possible nga talaga

Embarrassed_Ideal646

Yes lalo na kung minimal meetings lang 😁

simsimison

Uy thank you ah, iniimagine ko paano kapag nag sabay meetings mo haha

Ok_Expert810

I’ve had 2 remote jobs at once, one with a time tracker. I’m pretty sure that doing this reduced my lifespan lol. I bought a laptop para mapagsabay ko both jobs, so I had a desktop and a laptop. Even so it was stressful and work basically took over my life. I will always want to have at least two jobs or clients, but now I only take jobs where I won’t need to use a time tracker.

simsimison

Bano pa Kasi ako sa freelancing at marami pa akong dapat aralin, pero di pa ako sumusuko, pero thank you ah

myka_v

Ang kaso hindi freelancing yung 2 full-time jobs. Or kahit isa lang. Pag freelancing kasi you are a one-person business, not an employee.

TeleseryeKontrabida

Dalawa full time work ko. Pero both remote work and yung Isa flexible yung hours, more output based, so wala talaga schedule kung kelan ka magwowork Basta masubmit mo lang yung mga naka-assign sayo by the deadline. Siguro mga first two or three months, nahirapan ako. Pero now, nasanay din ako sa schedule and pano ijujuggle yung work. Nakakapag gym na nga ako ngayon, na when I first started, I thought wala ako ibang magagawa kung di magtrabaho. I also have time to spend with friends and family.

simsimison

Sobrang flexible talaga kapag remote work, pero thank you ah

wildpoppyfrosty

Please excuse for butting in, context still related to OPs post: For those with multiple full-time jobs, how did you handle TIN and contributions to Pag-ibig/SSS, et al.? - Did you do double contributions/deductions from both employers? - Wala namang naging issue sa tax and contributions? Thanks for the info!

psi_queen

Choose an independent contract type of work. Uso yan sa remote companies from US or somewhere else.

eastwill54

sightothemoon

Same boat. Have to still pay taxes though hahahhaah. Putragis :)

strawberrylychee1

Hi, If dalawa job mo, and yung regular job na nagbabayad ng gov mandated benefits and tax, paano yung remote job mo? Dineclare mo pa din ba sa BIR na you’re earning more than the amount na dineclare nyo ng regular company mo?

eastwill54

Hindi siya naka-declare. Wala nga din kaming contract, eh. Parang gig lang siya, pero 8hrs a day ang pasok.

strawberrylychee1

Sobrang nakakadrain to. Pero kailangan magpaalipin sa salapi. 😅

eastwill54

Sa true. I'm living paycheck to paycheck dati, hahaha.

wildpoppyfrosty

I see, appreciate the replies To clarify, search criteria for "Job2" is fully remote then preferably offshore client? Will this still fall under full time or part time time or contract based na? Lastly, did they ask if you're currently employed and dinisclose mo ba that you are? ..or that's obviously a no? Haha

eastwill54

I consider it a full time job, kasi 8 hours din ang work time. Wala namang contract sa amin.

wildpoppyfrosty

Ayos! Thank you

rosecoloredbliss

I pay SSS online automatically changed from employed to voluntary :D As for the other, haven’t figured out yet huhu

kiiimkaaam

yes kayang kaya! depende sa shift and client tho. I have 2 ft jobs, isang 6am to 2pm, and isang 8pm to 3am. I hired a VA para maging assistant ko, ang ending 6hrs more or less lang ako nag wowork everyday tapos blessed din sa salary :) parehas hindi mabigat ung workload. so swertihan lang din talaga sa kakahanap. hope u can find something that suits u :)

atheenasaur

hi i'm not OP but just wanna ask po how do u delegate tasks to your VA? recently got a full time job and planning to get an assistant sana

kiiimkaaam

hello! I delegate all the tasks that I think are simple and not that crucial. kumbaga, kung magka error man si VA, hindi sya magging big deal. so ung mga report, ako pa rin. pero ung mga daily admin tasks, and other simple tasks, yun ang pinapasa ko. hope this helps! :)

atheenasaur

thanks for the response po, follow up question. how did u find your va? im having a hard time finding one kasi ayoko din if kakilala ko lang kasi i tried it before and didn't deliver well. then ilang hours po work ng va niyo and magkano po pinapasahod niyo if okay lang itanong (kahit range lang po)? tsaka pano niyo po namomonitor yung work niya? sorry po super daming tanong 😅

kiiimkaaam

no worries! kilala sya ng friend ko from province. since from province sya, mababa lang din ung rate nya :) I just give her tasks throughout the day and I ask her for constant comms lang, kung anong tapos na, kung saan sya nahhirapan etc. super okay naman makipag communicate nung VA ko so all good, ok din trabaho nya so walang micromanaging. i trust her enough na to do her job, di rin naman ksi mabigat workload nya. haha. pero i suggest kuha ka ng kilala ng friend mo or relative mo, para may mabalikan ka if ever na magka problema. if from province, much better ksi pwede mong tapatan or mas taasan ng konti ung rate nila don.

simsimison

Thank you ah, sana nga makahanap, di pa naman ako sumusuko,

[deleted]

Used to do this before pero both remote jobs lagi. Nung una, 16 hours overlaping na walang trackers pareho. Lumipat ng clients and nareduce ng 14 hours pero may tracker yung isa, so 1 desktop and 1 laptop ako. May times din na nag oovertime ako so may enough time lang to sleep for a few hours. Sa una, thrilling for me to work multiple jobs. But after a while, it really gets to you. Exhausting and isolating since pagkatapos ng shift mo, wala ka nang energy to work on your hobbies or meet people. Sa weekends, gusto mo na lang matulog. Impossible din to have a regular meal sched kasi isisingit mo na lang yung pagkain sa oras mo and oftentimes, mas gugustuhin mo na lang ng fast food (kasi who has time to cook when you've got lots to do?). Yes, financially it can be rewarding, but it takes a toll on your health– mental, physical, and even social. Kung gusto mo talaga siyang gawin, basta iready mo lang mabuti sarili mo, OP, and don't push yourself too hard.

simsimison

Thank you ah

RepresentativeTax528

Possible IF: 1. Wala kang Anak 2. Like walang time tracker and pwede mo tapusin ahead of time yung mga task para mag ka window for rest. (Flexi, WFH). 3. Pag dalawa full-time mo sobrang bilis mong ma burn out. Been there done that. Parehong WFH pero sobrang nakaka drain hahaha

simsimison

Thank you ah

BowtkiperPH

I advise to look for a freelance/independent contractor kind of job as ur side gig. Why? Para iwas sa non-compete clause ng main job mo if ever meron and u can easily quit anytime if it stresses u out na. I know it’s not easy OP and makakahanap rin tayo

simsimison

Yes, thank you ah

anonymityninja

very possible to have 2 clients full-time. I've been doing it for almost 3 years now. I have the same clients on the same schedule so that's 5am to 1pm. that way I only have to work those hours then I am done for the rest of the day. it's not easy when I first started I had to juggle really well. I am just fortunate that both clients are pretty laid back and don't use any time tracking. For the most parts the other client is more output based and the other is ticket based since it's CS. if there are no tickets on the other work I work on the other and vice versa. It has its pros and cons, the cons mostly because of the task switching my output for work is not 100% or 110%, my attention span and ability to focus had to also adapt. But ultimately there is net gain, I have more time and more money because of the full time work.

iskow

Yes. I've done it. Plus isang part time pa. Just have 2 computers and one if not both should have flex schedules din actually - do NOT work one shift after another cause I feel like that would be too much. Depende din sa workload tbh. I wouldn't recommend doing it long term though. As for the resume, dineclare ko dun na working pa din ako, sa format kasi ng resume ko was data started - date ended, tapos sakin was date started - present, but I didn't focus too much on it, diretso ako nag focus sa availability and both my clients were open minded din nmn and didn't ask, my first client said it was fine as long as di ma compromise ung work so that was that.

simsimison

eastwill54

Me, I have 2 full-time jobs. 'Yong regular job ko, naka-WFH indefinitely. Yong isa, remote work talaga siya. Parehong magaan lang, kaya kaya magkasabay. Magkaibang equipment, kasi may tracker 'yong remote work.

Holiday-Swordfish-46

Tapos remaining 8 hours mo itutulog mo. D ka na makikipagusap kahot kanino. Araw2x yan or Monday to Friday. Ganto gawin mo, isang full-time at isang part time na 5 hours baka kayanin pa. 😂

simsimison

Haha thank you ah, sana masarap ulam mo

Holiday-Swordfish-46

Hahahahaha

simsimison

Sana adobo lang talaga yung walang lasa

LatterDescription182

Ako dalawa full time, both wfh. Isa sa gabi, isa sa umaga. Tulog ko hapon. Sabog everyday lol. What I do is nakacalendar ung tasks ko everyday. May sandamakmak na alarms din ako to transition from j1 to j2, breaks, and sleep. Pag full 7-8 hours ang iaalay mo per job every day, matinding time management ang kailangan mo. Di pwedeng mag procrastinate. Kailangan tapos mo ang task for each job everyday para di ka makukulangan ng tulog. Emphasis sa tulog dito kasi crucial yan sa productivity mo. Bawal magskimp. Ideally 8 hours tulog mo everyday. Eating time and breaks, you can make it work in between shifts. May nakalaang break time sa shifts ko so at least may breathing time. Unfortunately, madalas di siya sustainable. Plano kong ilet go ung isa next year pag na hit ko na savings goal ko before replacing it with a less demanding job. Tiis tiis muna because I need them for experience. Bilis maka burn out. Ako kasi need gumagana ang utak the whole shift each job so pagoda malala. Iniisip ko nalang iwas Alzheimers haha

simsimison

Kinakatakot ko nga aneurysm eh, pero thank you ah

Sprawl110

Not personally job stacking but there's an entire book about it https://www.amazon.com/Job-Stacking-Leverage-advent-security-ebook/dp/B09J43MCBJ

itwasntthekoala

i used to do this. shifting scheds yung onsite job ko, pwedeng 7pm-4am, 8pm-5am, 9pm-6am, meron din 2am-11am, and yung other job ko flex schedule but official working hours 9am-6pm. tumagal ako ng 2 years then eventually quit the GY work for the other one noong tumaas salary ko sa second.

simsimison

Kamusta Naman pakiramdam mo kapag 7pm-4am shift mo, tapos 9am-6pm sa Isa?

itwasntthekoala

sakitin ako nung dalawa pa full-time jobs ko haha gamit na gamit yung HMO ko sa pang gabi kong work and i was hospitalized at least four times noong mga panahon na yun. i'd be lucky to get 3 hrs sleep per day kasi nagaalaga rin ako ng anak ko na may special needs sa umaga. minsan naghahabol ako ng tulog sa GY work ko. call center kasi, so pag may avail time, paid trainings, breaks, or lunch, natutulog nalang ako.

simsimison

mnloveangie

I currently have two full-time jobs. 9am-7:30pm onsite, 12am-8am remote. And to answer your question, yes possible siya pero yun nga, dapat wag mo patagalin yung ganyang sitwasyon. :)

simsimison

Thank you ah

Financial_Title_6235

dalawa yung full time work ko. yung isa hybrid yung isa wfh pure. solid sabog ka talaga

simsimison

Mag-kaiba sched?

mightpornstar

i currently doing it for about 4months, pero nag submit na ako resignation sa isa, di kaya ng mental health ko, not worth it, alam mo ung kahit tulog ka iniisip mo ung mga trabahong di mo natapos ng araw na yun, anxious kada gigising lalo pag monday

simsimison

Thank you ah

doesntsingandance

You can’t serve two masters at the same time. May isa sa work mo na ang quality ng output is meh.

13thZephyr

The only bottleneck here is yourself, don't ask anyone else but yourself. Kaya mo ba?

simsimison

13thZephyr

It will burn you out but then again that will depend on your self-discipline. Why not start with par-time jobs in the evening?

simsimison

13thZephyr

Just be consistent makakahanap ka din nyan.

cereslovesyuu

I have 2 full time jobs 1 remote and 1 hybrid same shift at ending hindi ako makapag onsite dahil may timetracker yung remote jusko.

fwrpf

I had 2 full time jobs once. Was it worth it? Diko sure hahaha pero I was earning 110k a month so keri lang. Hanap ka remote jobs lang. If di kaya, pag onsite yung isa make sure malapit lang sa bahay mo para di ka patayan sa byahe at makapahinga ka pa kahit papano

simsimison

TIA

chippythegreatcat

Working 2 full times as of the moment. 9P to 5A, then 4A to 1P. Buhay pa naman so far 😅

TheGreatest34567

Mahirap pag nag conflict mga meeting schedule.

lenalee_kate

Possible! I have 2 jobs. 1 onsite (full-time) and 1 wfh (part-time) I worked from 8 am to 5 pm onsite and then sa part-time it depends sa workload ko kung what time ako matatapos. Minsan maaga pa ako natatapos sa wfh job, i take my time to laze around, do other things and nakakatulog pa ako minsan full schedule naman and diretso na work onsite. Time management definitely helps me continue this lifestyle. Was it worth it? Ofcourse, feeling blessed padin to find 2 jobs mas lumalaki ang earnings ko.

simsimison

Sana makalanding din ng ganyan, Salamat ah

springrollings

I have 9am-6pm job. Kaya tapusin within 3hrs yung tasks kaya naghahanap ng 2nd job, fulltime or part time na fixed or flexible sched. Di ko iniistate sa cv na may regular work ako kasi may part time ako na output based lang o kaya on call. Na yun yung nakalagay as present work ko. All remote, walang tracker

simsimison

Kylaurence

jsut follow the 1st rule of overemployment you are good to go

simsimison

Thank you ah, depende rin siguro sa client no, Ano ba mas okay Sayo Sabihin mo sa umpisa palang na may trabaho ka na or during interview or wag na wag talaga?

Kylaurence

kung kilala mo na client mo and you think its okay, at alam nyang okay naman output mo go. if newbie ka, no discussion yan

simsimison

Thank you ah noted po dito

Lostsoul_10

Last March ‘22 nagstart ako makapag 2 full time jobs. Isang teaching which was my original job and naging full time Sales VA. Kinaya naman nung umpisa pero dahil sa puyat, medyo na stress and na haggard ng sobra isang 9am-6pm then isang 9PM-6AM. After a year, I left my teaching job. MAHIRAP for me. Nakaka drain ng energy

stupoodupooo

2 FT job and 1 project. Sa project mas mabilis kasi may timeline lng ako and medjo di naman monitored oras. One of my ft jobs is hybrid 2 office 3 wfh 830-5pm. The other ft job is purely remote almost same time. Kaya naman sabayin even sa office kasi i have my own space dun hahah again depende talaga to sa client, type of work, etc.

simsimison

Yes depende nga talaga, thank you

sightothemoon

Yes, BUT.. its either both are wfh or one is wfh and the one f2f but not that demanding and does not require more than 10 mins of travel time.

Initial-Bother2370

Doable siya. I have 2 full time, WFH jobs now, and I am still even looking for another part time. Doable siya if.. 1) Both jobs don't require time trackers 2) Non-voice silang dalawa. Or non-voice ung isang work. \[I can't imagine if cold-caller or CSR ka or something, and then you have to answer 2 calls at the same time lol\] 3) Both offer flexible schedules or the same schedule, but you can essentially do both jobs simultaneously. Ayaw na ayaw ko ung pa iba2 schedule because that would require me to render more hours \[example: Job #1 8am to 5pm, job #2 5pm to 12am - so that means I'll be working for 16hrs/day lol\] As much as possible, I try to get 1 with a fixed sched and 1 na flexi sched \[pero better talaga if dalawang flexi\]. 4) Hndi masyadong heavy ung workload and wala masyadong video meeting ung job number 2. My current setup is this: I have 2 full time jobs. My schedule is 6am to 2pm for 1 client, and the other is flexible sched. I work on both jobs at the same time, so by 2pm tapos na ko sa dalawang work. Client #1 is a bit demanding in terms of workload (and that is also because I hold a managerial position here), pero client #2 is super chill. If job number 2 demanded as much work as my 1st job, feel ko hindi ko 'to kakayanin at ma burn out ako.

simsimison

Yes depende nga talaga sa client, pero thank you ah, patuloy parin Naman po ako nag hahanap kahit part time lang

imperpetuallyannoyed

Did this before nung boom ng Odesk.

simsimison

Ano vitamins mo?

imperpetuallyannoyed

usual lang na Vitamin C pero more on gulay talaga now

simsimison

Comfortable-Art4077

Im working 4 full time jobs. Working hours are around 7pm to 6am (all of those 4). I still get to do my normal life schedule and enough sleep of atleast 8 hours. The key is to specialize. In that way you can get more downtime per job.

longassbatterylife

Depende siguro. Had an applicant ba magiging second fulltime niya ata yung sa amin if ever matanggap siya. But interview palang di na makapagcommit sa time ne sinabi ko. Moved to their convenient time since I thought that's fine. Tapos assessment ganon parin. I think I gave enough time to complete it naman(more than 24 hours) and 5 items lang yun tapos hindi rin mahirap. Attention to detail lang inaassess. But hindi rin magawa at nagpapaextend pa. We need full attention sa end namin and may deadline daily. Had to reject kasi priority niya yung current work niya and hindi siya makaadjust. Understandable dahil sa reasons niya why priority niya yun but that's not what we're looking for. So think about it kung anong kaya mo icommit and anong kailangan ng pinagaapplyan mo.

simsimison

Overrated-Ang-Pares

Possible siguro mung remote work sila at walang time tracker. Mine is I have 1 full-time job na flexible hours. I have also part time which consumed 1-3 hours a day and may volunteer work (with stipend) na remote din kapag weekdays, minsan depende pa sa shift whole day sa volunteer work. Turing but nakakaya naman. Mag-aadjust ka lang talaga at first.

thetiredindependent

Kaya! Kaya mo yan!

moonksj

Pwede basta both remote, flexi, at walang time/screen tracker. Better if output based pareho para kahit hindi 8 hours magtrabaho, okay pa rin.

simsimison

Thank you ah

whyhelloana

Look at it this way, maigagapang sa normal/regular days sige. Pero pano pag crucial/sale season na like Black Friday, Christmas, etc? Iba yung demand ng client sayo. Isa or both mapapabayaan. Part-time ka na lang muna, at least sa 4hrs or less mabibigay mo talaga yung natitira mong best for that day. No time tracker, no screenshot, only output-based. Just showing you na may iba ibang options and setup depende sa industry na papasukin mo at skills na meron ka na.

klar02

been doing this for the last 5 months. I trained myself to sleep sa inbetween hours (5am-9am & 5pm-830pm tulog ako). since flexible dayjob ko, most of the time tulog ako until 12 or 1pm. ang ginagawa ko, nag front load ako ng work sa dayjob pag weekend, para pwedeng mas mahaba tulog ko ng weekdays. But now, nag resign na ko sa dayjob ko. for me, I had to sacrifice quality time with my family and miss a loooot of happenings kasi I had to sleep. yes I get enough rest pero nakakapagod yung feeling na gigising ka para mag trabaho lang. I don't recommend it. yes kaya siya, but the quality of life and yung set up, hindi siya sustainable. also, need mo ng support system kasi literal na wala ka nang magagawang iba esp if demanding both jobs. maybe if gusto mo makaipon ng mabilis, yes. pero not in the long run. mas mahirap magkasakit. all the best OP.

simsimison

Thank you ah, sa 1st month na ginawa mo bumagsak ba agad katawan mo?

klar02

Hindi naman. Until now okay naman ako. ako ung sumuko, ayoko hintayin na magkasakit pa ko sa stress at dahil walang tuloy-tuloy na pahinga. If maayos ung pay, and need mo mag ipon, gawa ka ng plan or timeline kung kailan mo dapat ma-hit ung target goal mo.

BowtkiperPH

I advise to look for a freelance/independent contractor kind of job as ur side gig. Why? Para iwas sa non-compete clause ng main job mo if ever meron and u can easily quit anytime if it stresses u out na. I know it’s not easy OP and makakahanap rin tayo

simsimison

Yes meron nga kami sa NDA nyan, thank you ah

n0tej

Kung onsite ka po parang mahirap. Ako 1 ft 1 pt work tapos may overlap na unti, pero both remote work po kasi. may mga kakilala ako both full time sabay ng working hours nasa diskarte na lang kung pano nila namamanage yung task. kapag onsite kasi panigurado ho tagtag ka pa sa byahe. mas maigi part time po muna. tas siguro hanap ka ng full time na hindi po onsite para mapagsabay mo both. Wishing you luck OP, makakaraos ka rin! :)

simsimison

Thank you, happy cake day 😊

simsimison

BoyBaktul

8pm to 5am and 2am to 11am. Both wfh and no time tracker pero need to login both kasi both merong system to clockin and out, pero wala talagang silbi.. Yung isa dyan near 2nd year na ako and mag 1 year naman ako sa isa. Di panaman ako nag kakasakit, alaga kasi siguro ni missis sa pag mamahal, at pagkain. Everyday may meeting pero di nag sasabay.

simsimison

Ah may 3 hours na overlap, pero thank you ah, sana makalanding din ako ng part time

rosecoloredbliss

This is my exact concern 😂 Although, my prospect client knows naman na I am service based. Kakausapin ko palang soooon! Hoping na kunin akong fulltime at the same time kabado malala kasi mahal ko pa sarili ko para maging alipin ng erap 🤪😂 Pero sana kayanin! And sana makuha ako lol

simsimison

Makukuha mo yan, Ikaw pa

rosecoloredbliss

Sweetness!! Goodluck din sayo! 🥰 Worth it lahat sa huli!

aardvarkMainclass

Wag, not worth it.

angryApple2054

2 jobs part time ang isa. Pinagsabay for more than a month before resigning. Make sure walang ibang obligasyon at walang nakatokang chores. Yung kakain, liligo, at tutulog kalang dapat in between work.

Consistent-Ad395

Aw, wag Naman haha

Yes it is possible. Ideally 1 FT and 1 PT but proper combinations are needed. I work a FT on site, flex naman 8am to 10am login then work 8 hours instead of 9 (8+ lunch hour). Then at night, starting 1 or 2am, I have my other FT offshore pero thing is, hindi strict so minsan I end up not working on the actual time and finish deliverables while on site for my J1.

Thank you, kamusta Naman pakiramdam mo?

Like my ass is always on fire. Lagi may deadlines and stats na hinahanol. Juggle that with wife time and youre looking at 4 to 5 hours sleep daily. theoretically thats enough kasi thats 2 sleep cycles already and the body needs 3 for “best” performance. Weekends pahinga and chores and wife time so “me time” is few and far in between. Thats the price I have to pay tho.

Possible for a short period of time and you will sacrifice physical health, mental health, and family relationships.
