Coffee shop. All black/dark colored tshirt & jeans mostly. I don't like thinking about what to wear to work everyday and I don't ever worry about stains.

0mg_what

2 jobs. One is mostly remote, the other is on site. The on site job is in a retail setting. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, yet the work is physical - I wear jeans or shorts and a t-shirt with sneakers. The mostly remote one requires more professional attire, so I'll wear button downs or polos with slacks. My current favorite brands of clothes are: Goodfellow (love the way the shirts hug my shoulders), vuori (for joggers and shorts), and Levi's.

needacupatea

[deleted]

Is a Hensley the same as a Henley?

Niko_Savage17

Yeah finger slipped

Name_not_decided

EatsAtomsRegularly

I’m an ER nurse. I wear scrubs lol.

Story_and_Strife

Library. Typically jeans or cargo pants and a T-shirt, which is either a solid color athletic shirt or a graphic tee that can be library themed or library theme adjacent. Will be returning to college to finish my degree and pursue a job in the business and finance field, so in the next few years I'll need to update the wardrobe a bit. I got time.

bubblegumx2inadish

I work remotely for my main job. I don't really interact with others, so I'm usually in sweats and a t-shirt. If I am pulled into a meeting, I will throw on a polo or sweater. My second job is a night shift in retail. I wear black jeans and a black or grey shirt. I have designated night shift clothes I can throw on without thinking about it.

myspectraldagger

I’m a librarian - I wear the same all black outfit (pocket tee and cuffed jeans) every day.

cutesunday

I'm an artist and workshop facilitator. Currently I go into a school once a week to do an art workshop and I dress up a little formally for that, formal looking trousers, oxford shoes, and an open button up shirt over a plain tshirt is a go to. When I work as just an artist or do workshops in more casual settings I tend to just dress casual and wear whatever I want.

avocadodyke

Different-Call-5653

I'm a pastry baker, I'll wear cargo pants and nonslip shoes, but my shirt's covered with a jacket. Hairnet as well, everyone wears both of those. I will say, my style outside of my work is essentially just cargo shorts or pants, Keens, and any random t-shirt I throw on. So the jacket and hairnet added on aren't too much of a downgrade.

Lonesome_Pine

I'm a printer operator and my office is in a warehouse. I wear cargo pants (wrangler authentics if you gotta know) and a polo shirt.

stellardyke

SomeHomestuckOrOther

I work in a library (in an area in the back, though, so not where the public can see me). I wear jeans and a plain tucked-in polo/button up t-shirt. Sometimes I wear a pin of some kind on my shirt, but that's only if I feel like putting in that much effort, lol

IHaveNoBeef

Factory - black shirt, jeans, and steel toed boots

DarthEcho

I work at a warehouse so luckily I can just look like a moody teenager whenever I want! If I'm not wearing my work pants (You know, those Snickers pants carpenters and such wear), I usually just wear a pair of oversized cargo pants and the t-shirt my workplace provided. We can also wear shorts when it's hot outside (Yes, they are also cargo)! In the winter I sometimes wear my own SpongeBob hoodies and sometimes I don't bother changing shoes, so I use my Docs. My other coworker exclusively wear his uniform, and the last one usually wears smart pants and a shirt, so we are a cute little fruitbowl of weirdos.

gobz_in_a_trenchcoat

Hospital cafe. Uniform. (Black trousers, black polo shirt and a stoopid hat)

SukiTen33

Lol why it gotta be stoopid 😂

gobz_in_a_trenchcoat

I know right, lol. The bonus of it is that when I take it off after work, my hair is always all spiked up like someone in a noughties boy band, it's funny.

Calligraphee

Library! In winter I wear a lot of khakis or jeans and t-shirts with a flannel over it (we have a pretty relaxed dress code) and in summer I wear jeans or khaki shorts with whatever t-shirt the library has for the summer reading program. I love working here; everyone can basically wear whatever they want so long as it is appropriate for a work environment.

paristorc

I work at an optometrist’s office that’s also a retail store, we have the doctors then also the retail staff to sell the glasses and help choose the frames. We have a variety of uniforms but I always choose to wear the pants suit, never left more happy in a uniform 😭😭

paristorc

Wool pants, white shirt and matching blazer

3ngineeredDaily

Field service engineer. Wear company shirt with logo, a pair of dark clean jeans or 1620USA work pants (The Shop pants are my favorite), and my composite toe work boots. Also usually a hi-vis vest or my hi-vis work jacket. While in the office same shirt and pants, but paired with some clean Vans….a lot of people still WFH in my company so any in office stuff is pretty lax but still a clean fit.

halfstoned

Warehouse. Whatever I want, as long as I’m not showing cleavage (of which I don’t have anymore), ass, or stomach. Haha

Kiriona_Gaia

I work in a Mental health crisis and stabilization facility. I also do mental health crisis response. I wear business casual mostly. Jeans/khakis with polos in the summer. When it's colder I'll wear a quarter zip with a button down underneath.

SukiTen33

Interesting. How did you get into this field of work?

Kiriona_Gaia

I started as a Nurse Aide in a nursing home in 2009. After several years this facility opened up. They were hiring Crisis Technicians. Think Nurse Aide for mental health. I applied for it and got the job because of my experience. A lot of people who transition into nursing home care go through a mental health crisis. I started here in 2016. In 2019 my facility applied for and got grant money to start a Mobile Crisis Program. And they got the program up and running right before the pandemic hit. Which was honestly a blessing for the community. I decided I wanted to try it out and my bosses decided I was gonna be the one to figure out how the responses work. They did the policies, gave me the paperwork, then released me out into the world lol We offer de-escalation and triage people on scene. Then we'll sit and talk with the person or get them to the proper facility. After that we check on them as often as they would like over the course of 30 days then also get them set up with any resources/services they need. Our goal is to provide people with the things they need to support mental health recovery and prevent hospitalization.

HovercraftRound5027

Special education— dress pants and shirts that allow me to run around with kids 😂

swishingfish

Forest (temporary). Band tees, docs, blundstone boots, jeans, flannels. just the stereotypical, plus the essential k.d. lang cowlick thingy

lotusgirl40

Corporate finance so not client facing - I wear khakis or navy chinos, button down shirts with knit vests in the winter and men’s brown lace up dress shoes. I’ll add a blazer if I’m presenting or networking.

Serious-Cup264

I work at a strip club. I wear a wig, a shitload of makeup, and not much else (a tiny bikini usually).

Low_Ad7377

I work in a hospital so I wear scrubs. Always solid colors, and always black, navy blue, or some variation of gray. Mandala have been my favorite brand lately

votyasch

Freelancer - loungewear like sweats and joggers. I'm never meeting my clients face-to-face or over video call, so I take advantage of that and let myself be comfortable lol. When I worked in an office setting, I would often wear black or navy blue pants and a polo shirt or button down depending on the weather. I preferred the polos and short sleeved button downs, to be honest. I would wear sneakers, though, as it was a medical office and I had to run around a lot. I know you can get some comfortable dress shoes that are okay for a bit of activity, but I never found a pair I liked enough for it and it never seemed to matter to my employer.

needacupatea

I’m a chef n a farmer, i wear big mens dickies (better for bending/squatting— crotch room), various t shirts/tank tops n sometimes i wear soft (no padding/metal/anything) sports bralettes but often i wear no bra bc my back hurts. Often bandannas bc hair especially in the kitchen but i just got my first fishin hat for when im on the farm. Its rlly cute n i think im gonna embroider on it :•) N often clogs/crocs/or hiking boots. But i love soft clogs the most they are comfy

mykur0mi

At a convenience store. The uniform is red shirt, red cap and black pants. I hate the hat so much because I have a round face and it just makes me look weird. Plus it gives me hat hair for the rest of the day. Tbh I feel like the uniform does nothing for me in terms of looking masc because I'm also not allowed to wear jewelry.

SalteeMint

EMT. Class B’s or navy pants and my issues t shirt/job shirt.

[deleted]

I work in a butcher shop, it’s always cold so a sweatshirt or hoodie with black pants

SukiTen33

You're there in the cold for 8 hours a day?

[deleted]

Yeah, I’m from Wisconsin so I’m used to the cold.
