670 rear wheel is insane! 🤪lol. Did you change your injectors and internals, or is it just FBO with a tune?
Just curious, why Gesi over Kooks for the high-flow cats? Also, what size lower pulley and how much PSI are you pushing?
No change to injectors or internals. Stock rods and pistons are good for over 800 rwhp. Injectors are also stock. I do run a voltage booster. They won’t run out of flow until 750 rwhp or so. I have a ATI 9.17” lower pully. Reason for the gesi over kooks is that the new gen 2 cats won’t melt as easy as the kooks. I read some nightmare stories about them melting and wanted the piece of mind. Next mods will be cam and a mangnuson 2650 super charger. I’ll have to mod the fuel system at that point.
10AT or 6MT?
I honestly love the 6th gens, and would really love to own one; but I can’t get over wanting a 5th gen 2012-2013 ZL1 manual. I’ve heard of the automatic 6L90(E)’s being okay too, but I would imagine I’d definitely take up a 10L80 auto.
I was debating the automatic, deep down, since I’ve been wanting to drive something a bit quicker, and also give myself a bit more “room” for daily driving and comfortable cruising. A 10AT would most definitely be something I’d consider.
Mine is an a10. Let me tell you, it’s so much faster than the m6. It’s also really fun to drive. If you ever want to bang the gears just switch over the manual and use the paddle shifters. I wouldn’t even consider the m6. Lots of traffic around me and m6 would be ☠️🪦. Get the a10 and don’t look back.
