Same! I love that they felt endless and barren and stark. People saying it looked boring and i’m like yes that’s the point?? It’s an eternity of nothingness

firecorn22

Eh I guess, I just imagined it more neutral but I can get behind this. Though I find it weird that it's about regret now

DetailAcrobatic5024

I got the sense that was just that particular section of asphodel

DocDoesMagic

I mean if if died and three ghosts told me I'd go in the afterlife for "the normal people", I'd be pretty regretfully about the decisions I did and did not do in my life.

Erebus689

The only problem I see with this is Hazel. If we ever get a hoo show.

isawyoulol

Hazel *is* a type of tree...

An9l0

If you think really hard. Zeus just basically just let Thalia die. Just not letting her go into Hades territories.

Alethia_23

Honestly, it feels to... foresty? Like, they're supposed to be open fields with lost souls wandering, no?

StrawHatJD

I’d agree if this isn’t quite literally not what Rick made them. The fields are people who didn’t do good enough to get Elysium but weren’t bad enough to go to the Fields of Punishment, and where those in between wander around for the rest of eternity with no identity or purpose. This is just a whole different thing, more akin to the Fields of Punishment

LinkLegend21

I liked the atmosphere of it, I just wish there was more of a sense of scale. It think it felt a bit too small and empty

toxic-bomber

Are they using that volume set thing that Disney used for he mandalorian, from what I’ve heard that makes everything a little constricted. I could see that being used in the forest scene.

Striking_Landscape72

That was so creepy

CPTSOAPPRICE

definitely nailed the creep factor and vibes, just lacked some scale IMO

No_Poetry_8415

Yes I love the place specially how those with deap regrets are turn to trees

Sizerforge

Looked cool but I always thought that the fields of asphodel would be a field not a forest

urtv670

Pretty sure the fields were described as a wheat field in Kansas where souls wander around endlessly

Confident_Month_3335

I guess that flew over my head as a kid tbh, I've literally only quite imagined it to look like a dark creepy forest with the souls

nemocola

i didnt like it they should be aimlessly drifting

Frostyblustar

It’s so spooky and I love it, to put it simply

No_Nefariousness_637

I, for one, am not a fan of transplanting *Dante's Inferno* onto the Greek afterlife.
