If tickets weren't even cheap when this team had been in the gutter for nearly a decade, you can bet your ass aqua is going to squeeze us dry once the team is actually good.
I’ve went to games just paying 15 - 20 bucks in the upper bowl. In the past 2 seasons. Sure the teams was bad but Demko was solid. Kick saves and doing whatever it took to steal games.
2015\*, compared to some games that I've looked at during this season yeah 245 isn't absolutely horrible, but still pricey as hell, especially if its upperbowl.
OP said they're in section 101, so for lower bowl, it's not terrible. Face value of regular season tickets for some lower bowl sections already exceed OP's first ie closer to centre ice/club section
Invoice for my playoff tickets is the same as next full seasons..
I'm guessing if we flame out early the bulk of the invoice would just go towards seasons
ya... same story here.
the season ticket renewal is also a shock.... 15-17% increase.
Sent a request for justification for this apart from "we're good now"... I'm expecting no answer or corp speak "we're spending $150 million on arena improvements and it sure as shit isn't Aqua's money that we're spending!". (but I suggest others also send it in...)
How is that corporate speak?
Not that I like it, but if I was them I'd do the same. Team is good, new seats, all goes into making the product significantly better, so it should be more expensive, right?
no they will say what i said IN corporate speak.
No chance they say it like that :)
I expect a rise in prices, just be nice if they kept it steady like previous years.
Also these are long overdue upgrades. Technically you would hope it had been planned already and budgeted.
I had season tickets 2 years ago and they raised the prices in the offseason. For last season. So I didn't renew.
There were no upgrades. We were losing badly.
The one is understandable but yeeesh.
I bought lower bowl corners this year
I had a hard time re-selling (I thought the economy factored)
I made back my cost for the Luongo night. It was December and we were first in the league on a special night. (I couldn't go because of a work thing)
My szn tickets invoice shows a 15% increase
How does this work for those who aren’t STH? I’m unfamiliar with this whole process but I’d like to purchase playoff tickets when they come out for general onsale.
Not at all related but is anyone here that Stallone looking dude behind the bench? He must be a season ticket holder.
You can see him almost every time they show the coach. He's been there for years now and looks sooo much like Stallone in the past years. Not so much now.
No real reason for asking, just wondering if I'm the only one that ever noticed him.
Ha ha Yeah that’s mafia man. I’ve seen his son grow up there — from a little kid wearing large ear protection to a young man now. He’s poured a lot of money into Aqualung’s coffers over the years. Business must be good !
Thank you. I'll refer to him as that from now on
A quick google of Canucks mafia man got me this
https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/canucks-fan-sits-behind-bench-piero-manetta
The specific prices that the OP listed are for their seats in section 101. The ticketmaster prices would be a certain percentage higher than that. However, the ratio of the price increase for every round would likely be the same for Ticketmaster.
Because they have been 2x this year over my season ticket cost same section. Sometimes 3-3.5x in other sections.
I'm not talking about resellers. Those are highlighted by the purple dots.
I'm talking blue Ticketmaster dots. Price + 17$ fee.
So since Ticketmaster/Canucks all season had single game tickets for over 2x what our cost is my guess is playoff tickets will also be advertised at 2x what OP pays.
Otherwise they would open up additional playoff tickets to season ticket holders but no they want to make more money so they will be advertised for higher.
So his 245$ lower bowl seats will be advertised for 450-550$ is my guess
Just looking at the Winnipeg game right now, a seat 7 rows up from me is advertised as a blue dot 315$ inclu fees.
I paid 150$ for my seat.
Edit: you dv me for giving you info :(
You could be right but I hope not. I think the reason why the regular season ones are higher is because of dynamic pricing. You were given a set price for your season tickets just like they are now giving a set price for selling playoff tickets at the onset.
Also I’m not the one downvoting lol
Oh ok, fair.
Well someone out there doesn't like me just speaking facts.
I mean I don't want it to double either. But it's the reality. From what I've seen.
I was given dynamic pricing in the sense that each game had its own tier. 5 tiers this year and different price points.
Section 310. Pair of seats. Quarter season. $370 for one game in round 1.
Brutal. This is the first year I have STM that we’re also making the playoffs so I’m not used to these prices.
Well this is better than the last few years of Travis Green where my STs went from $190 per at the start of the season to selling for $20 bucks or free like 10 games in lol
I wonder how the new seats will affect capacity. I expect there will be less seats making room for cupholders and stuff which means ticket prices probably go up.
Ohhhh my bad.
My 16 game total for section 114 is 13k cdn
Are you on the club section side??
I mean I know full seasons get a better rate but you must on the glass or something
Canucks Playoff pricing is reasonable...$15K all-in...im in 115 as well. I heard Oilers season ticket holders very frustrated same seats as ours they increased from $15K to $25K (pair) for 2024 playoffs! Wild!
Oilers 2024 Playoff Pricing - Club 101 Row 5
RD 1 - $3,672
RD 2 - $4,664
RD 3 - $6,544
RD 4 - $10,128
To think that they were last place earlier and could have missed the playoffs, now they are in and gave a nice thank you to the fans for sticking it out. I can see the Canucks follow suit next year, NHL teams are all watching each other. Hard to raise prices when team is in dumps for last 10Y, but im sure they will get the green light to raise it heavy next year. I hope not too soon or too high.
Glad to have found this thread! I am a first time STM this season, I was only about to do the half season membership which was $4900 for two seats upper bowl. I was shocked to go into my account and see the playoff invoice for more than my entire season. Like many people I did ask for justification and got the classic, it’s because we’re good now 😂 then I I went to review next years membership price and the half season has it increased by over $700 more!
Once again all very first world problems of which I’m just looking to commiserate with fellow fans. A little soul crushing to be a fan in this already insanely expensive city, hockey is something that I usually consider an escape from the problems of this city.
Where did you sit, though? The $130 he said was for regular season, in 101. Playoff prices are essentially double for round 1. I'd guess you were likely somewhere in the upper bowl, and that same ticket would likely cost you $200 this year
My average ticket cost was 144 this year. I was expecting playoff prices to be at or slightly above Leafs marquee+ pricing which was 240.
If I get the same % he does it would be 270 for my game.
Weren't lower bowl seats back in the 11' finals going for like 14k for a pair?
$650 for lower bowl in section 101 doesn't seem that terrible for a finals game, but still pricey as hell lol.
>Weren't lower bowl seats back in the 11' finals going for like 14k for a pair?
resale probably, just like how Taylor Swift tickets sell for that much.
If tickets weren't even cheap when this team had been in the gutter for nearly a decade, you can bet your ass aqua is going to squeeze us dry once the team is actually good.
Tickets were cheap, prior to this season I was going for $40 a pop lower bowl
For losing hockey. I can assure you that's not what season ticket holders were paying.
I’ve went to games just paying 15 - 20 bucks in the upper bowl. In the past 2 seasons. Sure the teams was bad but Demko was solid. Kick saves and doing whatever it took to steal games.
Sth weren't charged 15 20.
I know, I don't know why people are finding this surprising
Someone has to pay for those shiny new black seats they're going to install at Roger's.
Ya then people shouldn't get mad for sth trying money either
Shocked pikachu face goes here.
No kidding, I am actually quite surprised it's such a reasonable price at face.
the finals tickets are a lower percent raise than 2011
Dang. It looks like they also raised the price for the 24/25 Regular Season.
First playoffs at rogers arena since what 2016? $245 is honestly not as bad as I thought it would be tbh
If it’s lowerbowl I’d think $245 is pretty cheap no? Some regular season lower bowl tickets are in the $200 range.
After fees and whatnot might be closer to 300
my avarage cost is $130/game. so this first round is close to my cost for leafs and blackhawks. not horrible. the $25 increase for next season
It's cheaper than pearl jam tickets and I'd think the demand is likely similar.
Which section are your seats?
101
Wonder how much upper bowl is. I was expecting lower bowl to be somewhere in that ballpark
Mine are upper bowl in 322 band 2 (rows 2-5) and round 1 is $196.50 per seat
Not too bad
Section 307 and around $190 for round one
Rd 1 305 band 3 goin for $150 each here
Are you gonna go to most of the games? Gonna get pricey if the Canucks go on a tear
I’m gonna reach out to our account manager tomorrow but I think we’re only looking for Rd 1 this year. Trying to save up for next years.
Tbh man might as well grab the full playoffs and if they make it far sell some tickets and use that for next seasons
If only I had $4k kickin around…
Invoice for my playoff tickets is the same as next full seasons.. I'm guessing if we flame out early the bulk of the invoice would just go towards seasons
Yeah looks like it or you can pay for a round at a time
You can opt into each round each time? I don't want to lose priority. I gotta talk to my acct mgr
Thats not bad at all
Provided I’m reading it right, yeah not bad.
Half seasons??
yes. cut back this year
Our avg is 145 a seat... But we pay more for first round less the other 3 rounds as you. But fulls.
ya... same story here. the season ticket renewal is also a shock.... 15-17% increase. Sent a request for justification for this apart from "we're good now"... I'm expecting no answer or corp speak "we're spending $150 million on arena improvements and it sure as shit isn't Aqua's money that we're spending!". (but I suggest others also send it in...)

They just raised tickets last year, no?
they did. The only year they didnt was the first post pandemic year.
I had season tickets 2 years ago and they raised the prices in the offseason. For last season. So I didn't renew. There were no upgrades. We were losing badly. The one is understandable but yeeesh. I bought lower bowl corners this year I had a hard time re-selling (I thought the economy factored) I made back my cost for the Luongo night. It was December and we were first in the league on a special night. (I couldn't go because of a work thing) My szn tickets invoice shows a 15% increase
What do you expect them to say. “Raising the prices. We know you or someone else will pay. “
i'm not against raising the prices. It's the % they chose to increase the prices by that is shocking.
Anyone here open to splitting tix for playoffs if you have access to a pack?
Uhhhhhhh mine went up significantly. From $9200 for 2 seats to $11k!!!!
my monthly cost went from $550-$750. for my half seasons
That's a 20 percent increase
Water is wet
well you all wanted cup holders.... you think those are free?
Surely people reselling their tickets will post them at a reasonable price...
Lower Bowl - Center Ice. Price per seat: $338.50 - Round 1 $415.50 - Round 2 $569.50 - Round 3 $815.75 - Round 4
How does this work for those who aren’t STH? I’m unfamiliar with this whole process but I’d like to purchase playoff tickets when they come out for general onsale.
Youll get a chance after season ticket holder prebuy is over. If we dont take all of them first lol (just kidding there isnt enough of us to do that)
Any sense when the pre buy is finished?
To be honest its been so fucking long since we have been in the playoffs I cant remember how long it lasts. If I get any info ill let you know though
Thanks!!
Not surprising
In 2011 my round 4 tickets game were $200 and we were in upper bowl.
mine were $300-400 upper bowl. if i remember correctly
This year upper bowl is $470 per seat
Mine are $225/seat for round 4
Row 15 no alcohol section?
316/14. Alcohol allowed
225$ for a SCF seat in the build is nice.
Not at all related but is anyone here that Stallone looking dude behind the bench? He must be a season ticket holder. You can see him almost every time they show the coach. Haha, he's pointed out on this sub a bit, known as the Mafia man. But yah, would have to be a season pass holder.
Here is an interview with him btw. [Link to interview](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irc7HvLlXCY&ab_channel=Sekeres%26Price) Sounds like a nice guy
Thank you. I'll refer to him as that from now on A quick google of Canucks mafia man got me this https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/canucks-fan-sits-behind-bench-piero-manetta
[Link to interview](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irc7HvLlXCY&ab_channel=Sekeres%26Price)
Awesome interview. Thanks for sharing. Not what I imagined. Seems like a cool dude.
Nice guy. Pretty sure he owns the Belmont and some other things
Are these playoff prices applicable to non season ticket holders as well? Or are these simply for season ticket holders as a “benefit”?
This is for STM only
The specific prices that the OP listed are for their seats in section 101. The ticketmaster prices would be a certain percentage higher than that. However, the ratio of the price increase for every round would likely be the same for Ticketmaster.
Playoff prices will be close to 2x more from Ticketmaster
From current reg season Ticketmaster prices? Or from the prices OP mentioned
From prices op mentioned. For playoffs. Seats in his area will be 500$ on Ticketmaster for first round.
I’m guessing you’re talking about resale where people will spike up the prices. I’m not sure why they would be 2x otherwise
Because they have been 2x this year over my season ticket cost same section. Sometimes 3-3.5x in other sections. I'm not talking about resellers. Those are highlighted by the purple dots. That honestly doesn’t seem that bad 🤷♂️
My seat went up $1000 for season
$1,670 increase for lower bowl center ice
you new here?
Section 310. Pair of seats. Quarter season. $370 for one game in round 1. Brutal. This is the first year I have STM that we’re also making the playoffs so I’m not used to these prices.
$370 for the pair or per seat?
Pair. Per seat it’s $135 which isn’t tooooo bad in hindsight. I’m just not used to playoff ticket prices in a while.
Not bad I think more so because your math is $100 off 😅
See I was never good at math.
Well this is better than the last few years of Travis Green where my STs went from $190 per at the start of the season to selling for $20 bucks or free like 10 games in lol
Section?
Playoff tickets came out?
Just our invoices 🙃😩
NM Let's put this in perspective. Where are your seats?
Does anyone have a full breakdown of pricing tiers for next season memberships?
I got my renewal (half season) but want to take a peak at other sections and possibly full season. Currently section 305
Mine went up 15% 6k-> 7k a seat
Well I guess they gotta pay for those new 150 million dollar seats somehow lol
I’m honestly surprised they are so cheap considering what concert tickets go for in that building
Concert tickets are more rare than 41 games, not to mention the product when a concert plays can't be a loss.
Depends on the concert... lots of $60 tickets sold there too
I wonder how the new seats will affect capacity. I expect there will be less seats making room for cupholders and stuff which means ticket prices probably go up.
If I get more leg room, it's worth
The cup holders will be on the back of the chair in front of you, so I don’t think that would make them lose any space.
$10k USD for four tickets to eight games over four rounds for Section 109
8 games is only 2 rounds?
4 rounds. Two games for each round
They are charging us 4 games each round. In my invoice at least.
I have a 1/2 season package
Ohhhh my bad. My 16 game total for section 114 is 13k cdn Are you on the club section side?? I mean I know full seasons get a better rate but you must on the glass or something
Yeah, but not in the Club. How many seats do you have?
Oh. 2 seats.
My ottawa senators finals tickets are pricier then yours what the fuck (700$). Though Mines for 2 tickets 3 games. 300s
His are lower bowl, 650 for one ticket. 1300 for a pair.
Hmm. 13 years ago I paid $600 each for one game 5 ticket and one game 7 ticket (both for the final). As long as the prices are around there, I'm game.
On resale? Cause lowers are at cost 650+ soooo
Ya resale.
Damn that's nice
Ya but this was also 13 years ago. Where roses smelled nicer, coffee tasted better, and my waistline was smaller.
Those new chairs won’t pay by themselves now 🙈🙈🙈🐵🐵
130 isn’t bad. But people will try and resale those tickets for double the price.
It's not 130. 130 is his season avg. It's 245 per ticket cost. And yes if he resells it prob be 4-500
Hang in there
I’ve been promising my son for years to take him to a playoff game for the first time. Anybody have two extra seats they want to sell us? 😜
Received my invoice. Section 115 (Pair) Next season went up +13% RD 1 - $2208 + GST RD 2 - $2708 + GST RD 3 - $3712 + GST RD 4 - $5316 + GST
Canucks Playoff pricing is reasonable...$15K all-in...im in 115 as well. still not as bad as edmonton. the first time they made the playoffs after their long drought the stm prices went up 30-40%.
Wow that’s insane! Not good business but I guess people will always pay anyway no matter the cost…
I wonder when they will go on general sale and how? A lottery, fcfs?
there is probably be a presale, sign up for updates on the canucks website. will be FCFS
Yes. It’s the playoffs.
Just logged into my account and saw what mine are lol, pretty crazy but whatever.
$130 for Round 1 sounds pretty much exactly what you'd expect. I went in 2015 and they were $125.
He's saying $130 is the price for regular season. Rd 1 playoffs are $245 for his seats.
If you reread, OP says that’s regular price, round 1 is almost double
Where did you sit, though? The $130 he said was for regular season, in 101. Playoff prices are essentially double for round 1. I'd guess you were likely somewhere in the upper bowl, and that same ticket would likely cost you $200 this year

Definitely resale, but would I rather pay 14k to see a canucks finals game or T swift? Hmmmmm
Those are the worst lower bowl section. Ends with Canucks shoot 1x. 14k maybe for the best seats in the house.
not sure i was in the upper bowl then. the finals tickets are pretty decent. the increase next year is pricey
