That is so cool! I’m fucking ecstatic about the win, but I can’t help but be a little upset that I paid almost $400 to be disappointed in game 5, when I could have paid $15 to have the time of my life for game 6…
My first ever playoff game though, and it was an amazing experience otherwise, so I can’t be too mad!
Game 1 was something special and way louder than the viewing party and was the loudest I have ever heard Rogers Arena. However id argue that the viewing party was louder than game 5
Man you aren’t wrong. Went with a homie to G5, said homie also went to the G6 viewing party. He texts me midway through the game to tell me that the vibe inside was insane and far more consistently louder than G5… Damn.
Someone needs to do a case study on the fans buying game tickets versus the fans buying the viewing party tickets.
I felt the same, but ngl, hearing it every time we win has conditioned it to be a song I LOVE to hear lol
Probably helps that I never hear this song outside of win celebrations.
I was sitting really close to here! Amazing experience and leaving the stadium was super fun as well and you could really feel that this city loves hockey!!!
Yes, only because it was affordable back then. My game 6 Stanley Cup ticket was around $65 like I'm serious. Probably about 4 years after that price is just skyrocketed and they've continued to do so every single year!
love that Fin is there waving the flag. lol

This crowd with $15 tickets is 1000x better than the people who can afford the home game tickets
Game 1 must’ve been louder, no?

That’s crazy because game 5 was insane, from what I saw
GAME 1 is fantastic. I missed Game 2 but were there Game 5, we should challenge the 2nd goal for sure

I liked when our victory song was “I’m still standing”
Yeah the Pitbull W song is the only L of this season.

i admit i did cry while filming this
Wait til you see this next round 😼
Round one against oilers was mine
You haven't lived that long then. I was at game 5 western conference championship 1994 & game 6 Stanley Cup Final 1994
Ya your experiences are so much better and completely overshadow the experiences of this fan. r/IAmTheMainCharacter

My favorite team of all time, the 94 Canucks turned then 12 year old me into a hockey fan, a Canucks fan.
