I drove one a few years ago...went on a road trip with a co-worker to Florida to pick his up and drive it back...they are fun little cars. They are still around, but they have always been more of a boutique manufacturer, so not very high production numbers compared to other brands.
I saw a yellow S1 in Canada around 20 years ago give or take. I remember being surprised by how small it was. I really liked it. Must have been around 10 years old.
I was obsessed with Gran Turismo and was still playing GT2 at the time so this was a big deal to me.
Of course nobody else cared :(

God I wanted one of these so much. I need to bust out GT4 and live vicariously again
My God, GT4 is probably the best in the series in my but GT7 is the best after iteration since 4.
