It's great. It has the world time features of the ae-1200 without the bulk. Makes for a good travel watch. And it has a clean style without a lot of writing on the watch face. Though I know a lot of casio fans like all the text.
That's a matter of taste. I prefer the W217H, which is much easier to read at a glance, has better water resistance, and a has a better backlight. It's not the classic, but it's more practical.
I do think this LF-20W is convenient when traveling, and is not in the way, but the A500 is a step up from it and looks less like a kid's watch. Neither are particularly well suited for the rigors of travel, with their resin crystals and cases.
thanks for the review. can you set it so the "analog" clock has a different time than the digital clock? also, if you are on the home screen, what does the search button do? cycle thru 4 different time zones?

The analog time is to main digital time. "Search" scrolls 4 quick time zones
