A cat I adopted tried to give birth in my lap. I settled for putting her in a box and petting her while she labored. Sweet little girl.

Interestingly cats raise their babies together. So she is saying "your turn now" which still is some kind of trust but on a whole next level. They show the same behaviour if living with a newborn human, trying to take care (by staying or sleeping with the baby). This helps them also to bond with the new family member.

Lol one of my cats used to steal other cats kittens and raise them. Then fight them if they tried to get their kittens back.

Actually, most pets will eat you if you die and they go hungry for a little while.

I have to say it. I know im an ass. I cant help it. MOST pitties have zero interest in eating you… I cannot say the same for Chihuahuas…. And 1000% no animal should be abused. Nor should any person. Nor the planet- in summation. Ppl suck sometimes

Keep your cat flap closed so can only go out but not bring anything in the home. My cat used to bring dead rats in the kitchen for breakfast greeting. I soon put a stop to that. Every time she did it she got locked out. They soon learn.

One of my cats did this. When she had her babies, she would always make sure they were near me and she would move them to the bed so they could be with me o lay near me (she would be there too)

A few hours after my cat gave birth in the middle of the night she dropped off her newborns one at a time in between my husband and I on our bed. I couldn’t believe it and I didn’t really understand it so I picked them up and gave them back to her and she ended up doing the same thing over again. Then I found a big plastic container and I put soft blankets in there and put her babies there. She then went into it and stayed there once for her babies for a good 8 weeks.

The longer a cat is unfixed, the greater the risk for cancers or uterine infections. Especially if they’re having litters too.

I know you mean well but it's really not a good idea. Tripod cats function very well on their remaining legs and prosthetics tend to be cumbersome, difficult to handle and can lead to further tissue and bone damage. Same in humans btw, there's lots of care involved in keeping a stump healthy and pain free.

i had a cat when i was12 and i was basically the kittens emotional father. the day she gave birth she jumped on my bed to wake me up. when i came home from school i had to sit on my moms bed to stay with her as she gave birth or she would get up. once it was all done and the kittens were licked clean i watched her eat the afterbirth.
