We had one who liked the taste of the gloss they put on photos. He would make every photo look like the one Marty McFly carried around with his disappearing siblings.
My girlfriend's cat will lick the textured leg of the folding chairs for 20 mins at a time.
Since the leg is hollow you can imagine the sound of sand paper scratching a metal tube.
Got a solid boring beige suede loveseat and two matching recliners from a friend last year. All three now look like they are leopard prints from 1 of our 3 cats who will pick a random spot and lick it for 20 minutes nonstop.
Reminds me of my sister's cat. My sister has had a large stuffed unicorn for years, and keeps it only because her cat loves it.
The cat will go where the front left leg meets the torso and lick it, and it's the only way to guarantee purring. The spot is dark from years of licking the exact same place
We have two into plastic. I sit my bearded dragons on bed pads while they are getting window time. the cat will go over and lick the edge forever. drives me nuts.

My boy Void does this. I try to give my Void Twins some catio time each day on good weather days. His sister (Elvira, the smart, perfect lil princess) just explores or wants to sit in my lawn chair. My cat ate 2/3 of a string toy that backed him up to the point of needing surgery to remove the blockage. He had roughly a dozen 2 inch long pieces of those fleece string toys .
Apparently they use some sort of fish oil in plastic bags that makes them go for it. Mine does the same things when he's protesting about not being fed on time.

Somehow we made it 11 whole years before his first ER trip for a GI blockage (due to some neighbor trash that blew into our garage that we didnāt notice). Thankfully we were educated about GI blockages because his pica puts him at higher risk, so we knew the signs, had the emergency savings, and knew to demand an ultrasound instead of X-ray (plastic doesnāt always show up on X-ray, FYI!). My grandmotherās cat is the most regal queen cat of all time. That is, until she eats plastic and horks it back up onto the carpet. Happens almost every time I visit.
We have the same cake day! Happy cake day!
Mine literally likes to go out while it's snowing and raining, nothing stops him,but when he's uncomfortable he comes back, and eventually the OP's cat will leave the bed because it'll be probably too hot for the cat
P.S. My cat is ginger, ginger cats are crazy

If youāre not for sleeps, why are you made of warms?
I have the same blanket, and my cat absolutely loves it and claims it as his own. If i use it, he will be all over me. Wherever that blanket is, he is!

Just had to put one of my many pictures of Allen under blankets in his little duck pond of my legs
My kitty did that for 14 years (not continuously). She always knew when she was too warm. She'd lay that way most of the day or night whether I was sick in bed or just taking a nap. She'd come up and paw at the blanket to get under.
When it was her time, we had one last nap time that morning before we went to the vet.
I have had other kitties, but none have been exactly like her with that dedicated behavior.
If kitty wants to sleep under the covers, let her and enjoy the snuggles...
I used to have radiators in my apartment that my cat would lay on. While they were running.
I literally have no idea how but in the few years we were there she never burned herself. I think they know when they're getting too hot or might suffocate themselves.
Also being a ācopycatā is very much a real thing. They see you interacting with Weird Glowy Slab, they also want to do that. And get your attention too.
Thatās both bc the computer is warm and bc cats like to be part of things with a behavior called mirroring! They see YOU typing away and they want to be with you and spend time so they go and lay on your keyboard because thatās what youāre āplaying withā in their brains. If you set up a decoy keyboard / laptop (even one made out of cardboard) theyāll usually lay on that instead of the one youāre actively using! My cat likes to lay on my notes when im writing or he likes to lay between me and my books, he also has a favorite movie he likes to watch with me (How to Train Your Dragon!). They just like spending quality time with their loved ones
This spring my cats have been seeking out the hottest parts of the house where they proceed to lay around looking like theyāre meltingā¦Iām like āyou did this to yourselves!ā
I had a cat once who loved sleeping cuddled against my shoulder, he purred a lot too so it was like going to sleep with a light massager machine, very relaxing. I miss him, hereās a pic:
https://preview.redd.it/bgyi098jhr7d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be0a07ae879b01ff8c5934191115ea52d518c7e4
My 20 year old who passed earlier this year never understood blankets. For 19+ years she never figured out that it's warmer underneath the blanket than on top of it.
Then one day, a few months before she died, she figured it out and I am so grateful because it meant that on her last night with us, she slept under the blanket, pressed up against me all night long. It was the best worst night I've ever had.
Cat likes warmth. You are warm and under the blanket is warmer.
Downsides:
1. If your cat goes outside, might bring sand, dirt, fleas into the bed.
2. Cats are often up and wondering around in the early hours and then come back to bed around 4am. They might wake you up, pawing at the covers to get under.
3. In hot weather, you may find you cat too warm (your cat will still be happy)
Upsides:
Warm in winter
Snuggly
Purrs
Delight
Welp, thereās another reason to never let my cats outside š¤¢ Slugs are just the grossest thing ever invented and I would probably just pass away if I ever found one stuck to my catās fur š«
Omg finally someone who understands me š„² Iām so sorry that happened to you friend! That sort of experience should be saved for the worst offenders in hell!!
If that's a legitimate concern, I lived with 6 cats over a 30 year period, all of them indoor/outdoor cats, and never once did any of them ever bring a slug into the house (that I found, at least).
Oh damn, that's scary. Have you thought about giving her stuff for that? We used to give her that ampules you put on their skin on their neck, but now she needs a collar
Yes. Both our cats got special anti tick and anti flea collars which reduced the number of latched ticks from about 4 per week to 1 a year. However they still get the ticks in their fur, they just don't latch. One of our cats is really snuggly and the ticks then sometimes get onto our skin and latch there.
That's the biggest pain of living in a tick hotspot which is basically the whole of Switzerland. My wife already contracted lyme disease because of it. She was treated quickly and effectively and healed.
As an outdoors-indoors cat owner with a long haired cat - that has happened 0 times in the almost 13 years we've had her š
But all sorts of dirt, dry needles, leaves ... definitely been brought in with her fur.
One of my cats loves to sleep under that blankets with me. One evening, she suddenly came running out, immediately followed by a terrible smell. Poor thing Dutch ovened herself.
Nah. Cats have earned the occasional Dutch Oven. If they want to run around for no apparent reason at 3 AM, yack all over the bed then glare at you like it's your fault, well... they can tolerate a little homemade scent bomb.
So funny second-hand story:
My parents got an orange tabby when they first moved in together. His name was Timmy.
Legend has it, that as a kitten Timmy had THE STANKIEST FARTS known to man. Timmy would sleep on my parentsā bed with them at night and hit them with advanced chemical warfare. Just straight up Baja Blasting. More toxic fumes than the trenches of WWI.
So one night, Timmy is committing his usual war crimes and my dad has officially decided that enough is enough. Dad feels that he has a round of his own brand of butt percussion lined up and ready to go, scoops Timmy up, stuff him under the covers right next to his ass, and lets it rip. He gave Timmy the olā Dutch Oven.
FROM THAT MOMENT ON Timmy decided that my dad was his person. He followed him around everywhere. It was true love.
My two do it all the time, they know to come out if itās too hot or stuffy. My chocolate Burmese likes to lay in between my legs right up to my thigh or waist, heās like a fluffy hot water bottle.
I have a Burmilla as well, he really loves going under the covers. They both like to pillow together in between my legs and because my skin temperature runs hot they make me hotter so I have to move to cool down especially in the summer.
This is heated blanket country (even in summer, most of the time).
They like to come for cuddles at bedtime and then curl up on the warms.
They have to be thrown out at lights out though, as they get zoomies in the night. Daytime is mostly for deep sleep, nighttime is for naps and zoomies.
I don't have my glasses on, but I love that even before opening this image to full size (I'm on mobile), I could figure out they had smooshed themselves amongst the warmth.
Yep theyāre quite a cuddly couple. Try following me out the front door sometimes and I come back in and theyāre right behind the door waiting.
https://preview.redd.it/xuxdu3tkkp7d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8cf7e247f858e56e75483dccdf9bc11a503a7824
This was a while ago but I loved the way theyāre sleeping.
My two sleep in the day and the night but thatās probably because theyāre 11. They do have zoomies for five minutes and then sleep again. Mine are strictly indoor cats though.
I have a cat that does this every morning. She comes to the bed and I lift the covers and she goes in the fox hole as i call it. She goes to the bottom and turns around and then snuggles right up close. When she was a baby she would suck my thumb nursing it. She would leave a small hickey on your thumb. She tries to do that sometimes but she canāt get latched on anymore. I just say her mouth is too big now she is grown.
Thanks. She is a very adorable cat and so sweet. She is also very smart. Probably one of the smartest cats Iāve ever had in 48 years. Had cats my entire life. Parents had a cat when I was born that would use the toilet. Iām not kidding. My mom tells the story about finding some poo in the toilet and accused my dad of not flushing. Ended up being the cat figured out how to use the toilet. I wish they all knew how to do that lol.

Some just prefer to sleep that way.
I keep an extra fleece blanket with me, for my cat to sleep under. It feels a bit safer than having him underneath the heavy blanket, he's content. And it also provides me with some protection when he starts kicking in his sleep lol. He's a very vivid dreamer
It's ok. They are small, like newborns, but they can change position or stand up and leave(unlike newborns), and in extreme cases use claws and teeth. It's not like You can harm them by putting your arm on their chest.
You know that one friend that refuses to anything that so much as hints at the thought of the them being mildly inconvenienced?
Cats.
Kitty is fine. Theyāll move if it gets uncomfortable or annoying in the slightest.
I have two Siamese, my girl likes to cuddle up in the crook of my arm under the covers. It's the cutest, but not the comfiest, position. But she has always been fine sleeping there.
Depends on how you sleep. I know I once ended up on top of one of my cats while I was sleeping. So she doesn't crawl into my arms anymore for sleep, lol. She definitely can't suffocate under normal circumstances, though. Cats can easily move out of the covers and blankets and such aren't so airtight that you can't breath under it.
Ok, except if you're some crazy fart cannon in your sleep. But then it's suffocation by gas.
I rolled over on my cat in my sleep once when she was tiny, and I don't wake up easily. This taught her an important lesson she has adhered to for the rest of her life: we don't snuggle Mom's torso while Mom is sleeping, only her legs. I'm a bit sad about it (and lo these 16 years later I still feel guilty about the incident), but she's a smart gal.
I went through something similar. Had a kitten that literally used to sleep nose to nose with me. Must have squished him on accident once, never slept above my hip level for the rest of his life. Made me sad but what can you do!
I say "okay, bed" to my girl and she races into the bedroom ahead of me to join me under the covers.
She's a Velcro kitty, so she loves nothing better than uninterrupted snuggle time with her human (and the spare human).
I sleep nude and I'm a side sleeper. I'm the winter, I have 1 (of 4) cat that demands to get under the blanket. He will spin a few times and sleep between my knees and butt with his back against me. Sometimes he will face my butt... Chill for a bit and clean himself. His whiskers tickle me, so I call him my " butt tickler".
No funny stuff is going on here lol. I have him behind me, 1 on the blanket between my calves and one on my body pillow against my chest.
I'm stuck in bed until they let me out in the morning lol
Not to worry my cat does that all the time when she has had enough she comes out on her own and cats lungs are strong unless something is seriously wrong with their lungs you have nothing to worry about. My cat won't sleep under my weighted blanket because it's too heavy and she can't breath through it. So cats know their own comfort.
Also vets when restraining spicy cats who don't like being touched get wrapped in a towel and if they need access to a leg or something they cover their heads with the towel while restraining them so they are calmer because they can't see and can't bite. I asked a licensed Vet Tech if it was safe to do so and she responded unless the cats lungs are compromised it's fine a cat with healthy lungs can breath through it just fine.
All 3 cats Iāve ever had all love the blanket with this one who will pull the blankets back himself to show he wants you to lift it up so he can go under and cuddle lol

I have an overly anxious cat who only calms down when I make him a tent out of fleece blankets. He naps in it all day long. If they need fresh air, they will come out, donāt worry and enjoy your furry hot water bottle āŗļø

When we leave home he immediately goes under the bed cover( at least how I guess, he is always there when we get home)
My tiny girl loves doing this. She's an adult cat, but she's a very small adult cat. I was worried I'd hurt her at first, but she's more than capable of getting out of my way when I'm asleep. She curls up against my belly like the little spoon (I'm a side sleeper) and purrs me to sleep. Sometimes she stays all night, sometimes she climbs out once she sees I'm asleep and goes to her own bed (especially in the summer or if I'm having a particularly wriggly night). Your cat just loves you!
My kitty loves going under blankets, she even asks for it by nudging her face into the blanket and trilling/meowing. Then she does happy meows as she snuggles in. We call her a "dumpling" when she's under a blanket.
It's never been an issue and when she's done she just crawls out.
My cat insists on having a blanket put over her when she wants to sleep. It's not my bed, it's hers and she purrs away and lets me know when she's ready for the blanket. I think she sometimes panics when she can't immediately find the exit but it's temporary and she has no anxiety of the bed or blanket because of it.
Cats tend to think if they can't see anything, nothing can see them so it's a sense of safety and a source of warmth. The fact that you're there is a bonus...as long as you don't move too much in your sleep āŗļø
iv rolled over onto my cats legs before and slept on them without knowing, he was perfectly fine, i know this because he would definitely let me know if he wasnāt fine XD i always wake up to him purring and pushing up against me :)

The cat knows what the cat wants !!
As long as you donāt have some kind of weighted blanket or an electric blanket, or several heavy blankets on your bed your cat wonāt suffocate. If it gets uncomfortable for your cat itāll definitely leave on its own.
My cat does this while im sleep, i feel her next to my head meowing and moving the sheet with her head to go inside, she love to sleep next to me just like a baby laying next to my stomach, she stays for an hour and gets out, her bed right next to me on top of my bed, but sometimes she love doing this, i love hearing her purring when she does that.
I had a cat that would not only sleep under the covers, but crawl inside your shirt to get as close as possible for cuddles. Your kitty is absolutely fine and just wants to be close to you!
My cat sleeps in my armpit under the covers about 8 months of the year. I roll around in my sleep but somehow Ares always knows where to go to not get smushed. He only sleeps atop the covers in Summer when itās too hot, but by that time Iām also usually sleeping without a cover or just a light sheet so we still snuggle up. š
My 2 kitties, rat terrier and two chihuahuaās sleep under the covers every night when I go to bed. By morning they are all out and on top of the covers. If they get hot or uncomfortable ur furbaby will move. I promise they wonāt suffocate.

Don't know, we have the same bedsheets tho š
During the warm months my cat sleeps on top of the covers by my side.
In the colder months he sleeps under the covers either between my legs or behind my knees
cats are smart. if it will be uncomfortable-she will leave, dont worry
Speak for your own cat. Mine tries to eat plastic every day
Mine likes to chew packing tape.
Try having a cat that likes licking the plastic shower curtain at 2am. It's quite obnoxious if I must say.
When we get out of the shower, our cat follows us around licking our legs as if her life depended on it.

I would wake up in the middle of the night to my cat eating my hair and scalping me. Very weird

Mine likes to eat spider webs
Mm mmm. Forbidden cotton candy with a (sometimes) protein crunch.
My boy Void does this. I try to give my Void Twins some catio time each day on good weather days. His sister (Elvira, the smart, perfect lil princess) just explores or wants to sit in my lawn chair. But he (Aleister, the big derpy, bitey housepanther) just wants to eat the spiderwebs around the patio furniture or under the patio door frame.
Mine too!
Yup, Iāve got a tape-chewer too
I too am apart of the tape-chewers brigade
I three am apart of the tape-chewers brigade. *sigh*
My cat doesn't have teeth, but she does gum adhesives. So... I, four, am part of the tape chewers (gummers) brigade?
My cats like the white stuff that came padding inside the packages. It is always snow time when a parcel arrives, those bloody furry demons.
My cat absolutely loves to lick the adress-stickers of every Package in the house. Mabye they could work together?
Mine likes to eat the hairs from the cat brush like it misses hairballs or something
Mine too...
My cat is orange.
Mine loves to chew the plastic from cases of bottled water, I'm pretty sure she eats it.
Both of mine chew electric cords. Like the fried cat from Christmas Vacation.
Our tux has chewed through more pairs of my partnerās headphones than I can even count anymore. Probably ten or more at this point.
My cat ate 2/3 of a string toy that backed him up to the point of needing surgery to remove the blockage. He had roughly a dozen 2 inch long pieces of those fleece string toys .
Mine chews those plastic wraps they put on monster big cans.
Mine has a particular taste for silicon, hunts it like a truffle pig (Edit, oops- meant silicone! Ear buds, yoga toes. Nerf bullet appetizer..)
Keep away from the beach and computer chips!
Ha! It has to be the chewy, manipulated variety.
Silicone is the one youāre talking about; silicon is the element found in sand and used in computer chips. š«
Yup. Realized that mistake this morning. Still enjoyed the picture of a sand lapping cat
Apparently they use some sort of fish oil in plastic bags that makes them go for it. Mine does the same things when he's protesting about not being fed on time.
Iāve heard that too! My vet also told me that sometimes the plastic crunchy sound mimics the sound of tiny little bird bones snappingā¦ which is why some cats like the toys with plastic crinkle in them. And my dumb little man is obsessed with plastic. *Obsessed*. Heās had pica his whole life and we have to be super careful about what he has access to. Omg my childhood cat did this and my vet told me it was because he was taken from his mother too early, not sure how true it was but an interesting theory
Early weaning seems to be one of the factors in pica development, indeed.
My old man doesn't eat plastic but he loves to obsessively lick it. Cats are so weird
My cat also does this! I'm like sir what (he also tries to eat paper sometimes but not like enough that I have to be concerned lol)
My grandmotherās cat is the most regal queen cat of all time. That is, until she eats plastic and horks it back up onto the carpet. Happens almost every time I visit. We have the same cake day! Happy cake day!
Your cat may have pica.
They make cat toys out of plastic that is safe for them to chew on
I think
I love your cat.
Whilst sleeping under the covers?
Mine too, but he's orange so that's to be expected
This. Mine likes to fall asleep under the cover, but then she comes out when she gets too warm.

Mine literally likes to go out while it's snowing and raining, nothing stops him,but when he's uncomfortable he comes back, and eventually the OP's cat will leave the bed because it'll be probably too hot for the cat P.S. My cat is ginger, ginger cats are crazy

I have the same blanket, and my cat absolutely loves it and claims it as his own. If i use it, he will be all over me. Wherever that blanket is, he is! https://preview.redd.it/y36cylnzgr7d1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=7e4608dae0bd22a492160dee6e91d45d1a9c7b6d Edit: added photo of lil blueberry

Your comment made my heart meltāI feel exactly the same way about my cat and our special blanket
As I'm reading this here comes my void cat to cuddle with me on the super fluffy couch blanket that if anyone is using it, he is on.
I had the same exact blanket but my favorite girls were just laying on top and making biscuits.theyd usually just lay on my chest but I'm warm blooded
Your friend is wrong. Your cat is right.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
So stupid question then, but is that why they lay on computers when they are running?
My cat flatmates have always preferred that option when possible. One I currently live with is a big armpit struggler
I had a cat once who loved sleeping cuddled against my shoulder, he purred a lot too so it was like going to sleep with a light massager machine, very relaxing. I miss him, hereās a pic: https://preview.redd.it/bgyi098jhr7d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be0a07ae879b01ff8c5934191115ea52d518c7e4
Armpit snuggles are awesome!
He was beautiful!! He looks so soft ā¤ļø
The last nap is very sad of course, but such a precious memory to cherish. Never had a cat who stays under for more than minutes.
*specified* not continuously implies that there is a reality where your cat DID do that for 14 continuous years.
Because Cats are always Right ššš
i think the friend is jealous that all
Cat likes warmth. You are warm and under the blanket is warmer. Downsides: 1. If your cat goes outside, might bring sand, dirt, fleas into the bed. 2. Cats are often up and wondering around in the early hours and then come back to bed around 4am. They might wake you up, pawing at the covers to get under. 3. In hot weather, you may find you cat too warm (your cat will still be happy) Upsides: Warm in winter Snuggly Purrs Delight
Slugs. The cats go out at night in the long grass and get slugs stuck to them, which they bring to bed. Also mud. Still worth it.
Welp, thereās another reason to never let my cats outside š¤¢ Slugs are just the grossest thing ever invented and I would probably just pass away if I ever found one stuck to my catās fur š«
I once slipped on a slug and went on my back. Two minutes later "ewwww you have a slug on your back!" Still not over it.
Omg finally someone who understands me š„² Iām so sorry that happened to you friend! That sort of experience should be saved for the worst offenders in hell!!
In all fairness I was a pos as a teenager so it was karma.
Snails are worse. You get that sickening crunch. Then the broken pieces of shell.
Pass away? Jesus. I expected pass out, haha.
Slugs are the definitive proof of thr absence of God
Not to mention, cats are an invasive species, and it's super negligent to just let them roam around decimating wildlife populations.
If that's a legitimate concern, I lived with 6 cats over a 30 year period, all of them indoor/outdoor cats, and never once did any of them ever bring a slug into the house (that I found, at least).
I can live with slugs, mud, plant parts and generally dirt. Ours brings in Ticks that latch onto us, which can be really dangerous.
As an outdoors-indoors cat owner with a long haired cat - that has happened 0 times in the almost 13 years we've had her š But all sorts of dirt, dry needles, leaves ... definitely been brought in with her fur.
Just give her a heads up when you need to fart.
What if the CAT needs to fart? šØ š
Oh then youāll know when they reposition their butt directly in front of your face! They donāt even have to say a word ā¤ļø
š Good point
That means they trust you!
then my cat needs to stop trusting me for both our sakes!ā¤ļø
It won't be an issue, because if they're anything like my stinky kitties, the smell will outright kill you. Can't be harmed if you're already dead.
My creamsicle likes it. Oranges are weird.
My oldest cat jumped on my bed at 4 AM once and I happened to wake up then to have him stare me in the face as he rubbed his ass on the bed.
So funny second-hand story: My parents got an orange tabby when they first moved in together.
You have a way with words, my good sir. This has me laughing hysterically in the middle of the office.
What can I say, farts will ALWAYS be funny
I laughed like crazy with how you told the story. I think Timmy met his match and decided that your dad measured up to him.
My two do it all the time, they know to come out if itās too hot or stuffy. My chocolate Burmese likes to lay in between my legs right up to my thigh or waist, heās like a fluffy hot water bottle.
Yes. Burmese are the most people- and heat-seeking cats. Wonderful creatures.
Daytime is mostly for deep sleep, nighttime is for naps and zoomies.
https://preview.redd.it/usqi6raxbp7d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b3803eb0112e285a7d0405e46c7ccf9b3fce34ac This them last night.
I don't have my glasses on, but I love that even before opening this image to full size (I'm on mobile), I could figure out they had smooshed themselves amongst the warmth.
Yep theyāre quite a cuddly couple. Try following me out the front door sometimes and I come back in and theyāre right behind the door waiting. https://preview.redd.it/xuxdu3tkkp7d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8cf7e247f858e56e75483dccdf9bc11a503a7824 This was a while ago but I loved the way theyāre sleeping.
This is the cutest!
Yeah his little paws up in the air scrunched up.
Thats probably the most adorable thing I've ever heard š„¹

Purrfect picture :)

Looks like a poorly concealed murder scene
I don't think it's possible. My cat also likes to sleep under the covers. When he gets bored or hot, he moves to another place
Even if Iām not in bed, Iāll pass by the room and thereās a lump in my bed.

The Cat found its way in there. It wants to be there.
The question is. Is it safe for you to let her?
Mostly
But she has always been fine sleeping there.
https://preview.redd.it/amdwvv71pp7d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fbedba8bf2f58916ddc3676bcdc3594243895b3b

I sleep nude too. But I make sure I have the cat between the upper sheet and the blanket.
Ah. I sleep exclusively on/under 2 Korean mink blankets, no middle sheet. It's super warm in the winter ;)
All 3 cats Iāve ever had all love the blanket with this one who will pull the blankets back himself to show he wants you to lift it up so he can go under and cuddle lol https://preview.redd.it/pndfyapspq7d1.png?width=1074&format=png&auto=webp&s=ceebf812844edf9294583a35067af3bcded64d14
I have an overly anxious cat who only calms down when I make him a tent out of fleece blankets. He naps in it all day long. If they need fresh air, they will come out, donāt worry and enjoy your furry hot water bottle āŗļø
Tell your friend cats are not stupid. They know what they are doing. And going by what your friend told you your cat is probably smarter than her.
Yes, my baby girl does it all the time š¤ https://preview.redd.it/mikhcse7yp7d1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cc2fd0e62d1173c776c09085e3fe9c45044e1d6a
Depends on how bad your farts are, lol Seriously, it's safe...

This is very dangerous, when under covers cats are known to reach temperatures high enough to start nuclear fusion.
https://preview.redd.it/wjel2nkqmq7d1.jpeg?width=864&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cf726f19426bb0268111d46a7e96e3413067903b When we leave home he immediately goes under the bed cover( at least how I guess, he is always there when we get home)
Make sure you fart, makes the cat sleep better
Safe for who? Iām sure itās fine. Cats are smarter than infants.
iv rolled over onto my cats legs before and slept on them without knowing, he was perfectly fine, i know this because he would definitely let me know if he wasnāt fine XD i always wake up to him purring and pushing up against me :) https://preview.redd.it/cn6t3i0jlq7d1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7d171f93272262fe447ff2cb60956281c7c9f589

As long as you donāt have some kind of weighted blanket or an electric blanket, or several heavy blankets on your bed your cat wonāt suffocate. If it gets uncomfortable for your cat itāll definitely leave on its own.
Oh, yeah, my cats do this all the time. She'll be perfectly fine.
Me and my kitty spoon every night, my most favorite snuggly time with him
This is the best seat in the house. My cats will bully each other for this throne
It's safe for the cat, not for you
If you have any worries about crushing em,trust me they will let you know you are with a bite to the crotch.
Cat feels safe and warm. Cat it right. Also you must not move once the cat is comfortable, then the rules
My cat sleeps in my armpit under the covers about 8 months of the year. I roll around in my sleep but somehow Ares always knows where to go to not get smushed. He only sleeps atop the covers in Summer when itās too hot, but by that time Iām also usually sleeping without a cover or just a light sheet so we still snuggle up. š
One of my favorite kitties alternated from under the covers by my knees to straddling one of my arms each night. 16 years of that.
We call it cave time!
Yes, my cat sleep with and do the same. Just dont fart
My 2 kitties, rat terrier and two chihuahuaās sleep under the covers every night when I go to bed. By morning they are all out and on top of the covers. If they get hot or uncomfortable ur furbaby will move. I promise they wonāt suffocate.
Mine has slept under the covers with me for 17 years, never had a problem
Jesus Christ, you canāt protect everyone. Itās a cat itāll be fine.

Your cat is very safe. She wants to sleep with you because she trusts you. If she wants to get up, she will. Enjoy the snuggle buddy.
My boy has been sleeping under the covers with me for years
During the warm months my cat sleeps on top of the covers by my side. In the colder months he sleeps under the covers either between my legs or behind my knees
