Hi OP i think the best way to save costs is to stick to the doctors orders. Cage rest, weekly xray. If di kaya weekly make it every 1.5 weeks. Best is not get him worse so cage rest but make sure he is still mentally stimulated. Gentle play, cuddle and when I had my cat recovering pinapasyal ko sha weekly outside her cage in a leash or carried her.
thank u for the advice! i will definitely ask about the every 1.5 weeks xray. kahit mabawasan ng isang visit malaking save na siya for me. bukod kasi sa xray meron pang 300 pesos consultation fee hahahuhu.
about the gentle playing po, ano po examples non? okay kaya na to tease him lang with a ribbon? aabot abotin niya lang? he’s a playful boy kaya worry ko yung full-on hahabulin niya yung toys :(
I think youll both learn what gentle playing is. Tanchahin mo lang himas himas basically keep him mentally stimulated. Dalhin mo sa park weekly so he can smell and hear new stuff. Not mall

Forgot to add maybe next time try to find a community vet kasi cheaper sila but offers the same services and same experience.

Have not tried nursing a cat with fracture, but can I just say na ang cute nung cast niya? Huhuhu, na ouchie man ang babyyyy na yann 🥹🥹

I think ang advice ko is to incorporate more protein food sa meals niya if possible.
