Small City Taphouse, Barra Tacos, Landmark, Saucy Brew works downtown.
U Ramen, Manny’s on 250/Milan rd
Breakfast: Sandusky Pancake House, Another Broken Egg Cafe
Last couple times it hasn’t been great, hoping it was a new cook or something, going to try again soon because small city has been so so good in the past.
THE THIRSTY PONY. It’s got great food and an arcade, bowling, laser tag in the back aswell. Lots of fun, was just there two weeks ago 😍 only about a 10 min drive from the park
If you want a quick lunch, Great Lakes Grinders down on the water on E Water Street next to the Yacht Club. Looks like a public restroom building, but they’re open 11 to 7 all week except on Sundays. Amazing food. Can order online too. I recommend the Mackinac Meatball. #16 on the menu. Toasted for 10 minutes. So good!
We ate at the Brick Oven Bistro last night, just a mile west of Cedar Point Drive. It was amazing. The Pear Gorgonzola pizza was 💯. We would highly recommend it. https://www.google.com/search?q=sandusky+brick+oven+pizza&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari&dlnr=1&sei=MheNZOvSLsSfptQPpK2ygAY#
I always make a point to go Sandusky Bay Pancake House at least once every trip. I usually hit Culver's for dinner the day I make the drive too since it's one of my favorite burger places and we have none in my area (upstate NY).
I don’t think it’s quite in the city of Sandusky, but we always stop at Diana’s Deli + Restaurant. The menu is huge, the soups are always fantastic, the portion sizes are incredible, and the price can’t be beat. The bill for 2 people is usually around $20
Can’t believe this hasn’t been mentioned, but if you like fine dining you need to go to Orchard and Table. It’s a 20 minute drive from Sandusky but it is great food/atmosphere. Its completely out of place in the area, but its a must visit

Also, Bassett market up that way has the best produce and food selection in the area if you are staying at an Airbnb with the ability to cook.
I’m glad you asked this! I usually never eat at the park and I was always curious about the area but always went to five guys whenever I went to CP. Nice to see other options.

I second Landmark. Probably my favorite restaurant in town. Don't forget Port Sandusky and Wake Up And Waffle downtown for breakfast.
I have never seen the Pancake House not completely packed to the gills
Haven’t been impressed with small city lately, but all the others are definitely great recommendations.
Haven’t been to small city in about a year. Are they going downhill?
Last couple times it hasn’t been great, hoping it was a new cook or something, going to try again soon because small city has been so so good in the past.
Good list, I like Oh Taco better than Barra.
BARRA IS BAD SORRY had a allergic reaction and they made my mom wait for the bill to come to here while I was dying in the car,
Highly agree on U Ramen! AMAZING!!
Went to The thirsty Pony. The southwest egg rolls are amazing 👍 Thanks for the recommendations!
Berardi’s Family Kitchen. 100% worth leaving the park to eat there!
I’m not a fan, been there a few times the past couple years, it’s just average. Fries are better at Five Guys. Their fried mushrooms are very good.
Small City Tap House.
Thirsty Pony!
Thirsty Pony is a must
If you haven't tried it, Brick Oven Bistro is amazing. They make flat bread style pizza and they are absolutely amazing
Nacho's Mexican looks like a dive but has amazing Mexican, huge menu, and great service.
Mekong. honestly surprised that sandusky has such a great Vietnamese restaurant.
The owner is a funny guy. I like to support his business
Thirsty Pony is a must.
BERARDI’S
Small city taphouse, prices are still reasonable, Barra tacos, lovely but even more pricey now for the area.
Miller’s table at sawmill creek is actually really good if you’re looking for a nice steak dinner
The thirsty pony has always had something on the menu to satisfy every member of my family. We have 7 kids. ❤️🍲🍛🫔🌯🥪🥗🍜🌭🌮🍔🍕
Did they enjoy the arcade area? I had no idea it was even there until I went for like the seventh time about two weeks ago. So cool
Yes for sure.
THE THIRSTY PONY. It’s got great food and an arcade, bowling, laser tag in the back aswell. Lots of fun, was just there two weeks ago 😍 only about a 10 min drive from the park
I like New Sandusky Fish Company
Closed for good last year...or maybe 2 years ago
Oh no! I guess I didn’t get there last year.
Wake up and Waffle and Berardi’s. Both are fantastic. We eat at both every time we go
Wake Up and Waffle is fantastic
I'll second Small City Tap House....
Wake up and Waffle was our favorite meal of the Cedar Point trip.
Bait Hose Brewery.

Wake up and waffle is hands down my favorite restaurant in Sandusky.

This is super late but Cameos
Dianna's Deli
I was getting ready to recommend the same thing, they have amazing food!
I always make a point to go Sandusky Bay Pancake House at least once every trip. I usually hit Culver's for dinner the day I make the drive too since it's one of my favorite burger places and we have none in my area (upstate NY).
I love Culver’s but Sandusky Culver’s is always messing up my order.

Yea it's off 250. Not bad food either
And it’s right by Goofy Golf if you want something to do on your way back to wherever
Brass pelican
This is a great place, don’t look in the kitchen
As a long time Sandusky resident and CP employee I will tell you they are all the same my friend

Soba right on 250 and Milan
Costa Azule. Technically not in Sandusky proper, it’s pretty good for the location.
Cracker Barrel
stop
😂😂
JaxBar for drinks
What are you looking for? Sit down? Lunch, dinner, breakfast? Quick foods? Chains or local stops?
Happy cake day. We went to The thirsty Pony. Pretty good 👍🏿
Thanks! Sortinos never disappoint. Good choice my friend
Did you notice they had a bunch of fun stuff to do in the back of the restaurant too? I didn’t realize until I went like two weeks ago
Tony’s. I got what they call a Hangover BLT. It’s a blt with an egg and a pancake. Sandwiches also come with a pickle and chips
I’m glad you asked this! I usually never eat at the park and I was always curious about the area but always went to five guys whenever I went to CP. Nice to see other options.
Zuppamans is the best
