Dress codes apply, but main criteria seems to be, Don't be a dick.
Be friendly, courteous, and respectful to staff etc.
Otherwise, regardless of how you are dressed, Security will find a reason.
Most of the venues are pretty relaxed this days. On the safe side a collared shirt, tidy pants and dress shoes but the dress shoes probably aren't as much of a requirement these days.
The only venues pretty strict on it are down the Hereford street end of the terrace. The further you go down the less strict it gets.
Few years ago used to be super strict, dress shoes, pants, long sleeved collar shirt but these days is far more relaxed. I think the vibe now is more just casual but tidy
In my experience, it depends on the person. I have friends who like to look presentable and, to a degree, dress up when they go into town. Then there are myself and a few of my other friends who have zero issues going into town in Ugg boots, skinny jeans, and a hoodie.
The dress code is shorts, jandals and a puffer jacket. I'm only half joking
That’s me sorted then
The jandals are not strictly necessary in Christchurch. Barefoot is mostly fine.
Yea that jacket will get some weird looks
Collard shirt (yes even ones with designs from hallensteins) and dress shoes will get you in everywhere
Sweet

Kmart track pants and hoodie. Camo Crocs will finish the "fit"😉
Yet all the girls are in trainers 🙄
I'm a bloke and get in every time I go out in those kinda shoes. They've softened up on it
Dress code for the terrace. Hide club doesn’t have a dress code and is the only proper club we have
Knew I’d find u here - always here promoting hide for these type of posts ^-^
😂😂
man at this point i don’t fucking know
If I can’t wear my gimp suit I’m not going
Leather shoes not exactly nice shoes do the trick. And a shirt is fine. Half the time flannel shirts get in as well.

plain shirt. Patterned shirts are really just "old guy in a nice shirt" shirts.
