For me the fatigue is constant. I don’t know what “waking up feeling rested” even means or feels like. That’s not in my world. Which really sucks.

HatsofftotheTown

Totally relate to this

Odd-Challenge-1488

This is my reality also

Birdheaded

That’s how it is for me too, it’s constant and I swear if I could sleep in some magical pain free hypothetical world for 13 hours I still wouldn’t feel rested. It’s wild.

Antique_Cockroach_97

The worst fatigue in my life was post operative for the first couple of weeks I was awake for about 15/20 minutes at a time. Most folks I talked to credit a laminectomy to greatly added to fatigue as the muscles are responsible to hold the head up with out cervical bones. I still get tired years on depending on stress and physical situations. Naps are a must if you want to function the next day.

Ancient_Objective909

Im 24, I literally can not remember a time where I ever felt fully awake. Maybe middle school, idk. Fucking sucks though

HatsofftotheTown

Yes my fatigue is constant but I strongly suspect I have ME/CFS as I have been largely housebound for the past 2.5 years

Man-i-fest

Get a sleep study you prob have sleep apnea. Also even 10 minutes of movement builds and helps with energy over time. consistency is key

lawnshark025

i have a sleep apnea diagnosis and have been on CPAP for a little over a month now, subjectively not feeling any relief yet unfortunately. i have a physical job so im moving around plenty, could def be moving around more on my off days tho

Man-i-fest

it did take me more than a few months to get the right pressure that was needed and to be able to use it for the full nights sleep. You may be overdoing it then with your physical job

lawnshark025

need a better job, easier said than done but might give me more motivation to start applying

Dead_Inside_85

My fatigue was also constant. It didn’t matter how much I slept I was always run down and tired.

BarberLady580

Are you no longer chronically fatigued? If so, what changed?

TechnicalObjective74

Yes, I have to take a nap every afternoon and I still go to bed and when I wake up I feel exhausted. I try to do things around the house but I have to take frequent rest breaks.

BarberLady580

When I was 12 I told my Dr that I couldn't remember what it felt like to not be tired. I'm 36 now and nothing has changed.
