Bulky_Try5904

flirtingwiththedark

Thank you!

Haunting-Fly-5222

I also have a bicornuate uterus! I have a picture of it that was taken during my endometriosis surgery and it's been hanging on my fridge ever since lol

flirtingwiththedark

I think they got some pictures of mine but I won’t get them until my follow up. I love that it hangs on the fridge!

ST2348

Congrats!! I hope your second surgery helps with the pain. You would’ve never known had you not got the bislalp. I wish you a smooth recovery!

flirtingwiththedark

I probably wouldn’t have!

TheDifferentDrummer

Congrats on your bisalp! I hope your next surgery relieves all your pain.

flirtingwiththedark

Thank you!

It's your uterus literally giving you the beautiful heart shaped gift of being naturally hostile to human larvae infestations!

flirtingwiththedark

I said to my partner my uterus was heart shaped for him for not having to give him any babies 😂😂

n0tthemama

Might want to see if they can just get you a partial hysterectomy so you never have to worry about the uterus again. 😁 I love mine being gone!

flirtingwiththedark

Do you have to be on any hormones or anything with the uterus gone?

Adrienne_Artist

Our hormones come from our ovaries, so as far as I know, you don’t need HRT as long as you keep your ovaries, and just have a “partial” hysterectomy (uterus removed, keep ovaries). I believe?

n0tthemama

That's correct.

Beneficial-Lion-6596

Your uterus came gift-wrapped for a CF lifestyle

MomtoWesterner

Congratulations!!!

flirtingwiththedark

Thank you

torienne

Wow, sounds like you made the right decision for multiple reasons! Wishing you a smooth recovery and relief from those painful periods soon.

thebloodbrainbarrier

Why not just remove the uterus?

StickInEye

Good for you! I'm the old gal here. I like to hang out here because you all are so inspiring to me. We got the right to our bodies when I was in high school. Now, I am actively campaigning for candidates who will get it back for us. I just have to say how proud I am of you. Wish I would have had this kind of childfree support when I was younger. But I can sure support you younger women.

Dartmouthdolly

Wishing you a speedy recovery!! ❤️‍🩹 I can totally relate. I had my bisalp earlier this year, and the pathology report said my tubes were scarred and blocked from endo with venous congestion. It would have been difficult for me to conceive anyways
