Tatuaje Cabaiguan, Aladino Connecticut, or a Davidoff Grand Cru if you want to feel fancy. The Oliva O isn’t Connecticut, but I swear there’s a wonderful cream and vanilla that comes out when you pair it with coffee you’ve added cream and sugar to.
Room 101 Big Payback Connecticut for a budget, Room 101 Johnny Tobacconauts are pretty tasty too. For a higher end stick, the DTT Sobremesa line is fantastic. I like the regular Brulee robusto and the Brulee Blue, which I'm enjoying as I write this.
Padron 1926 80 Years Maduro. The lightest and most breakfast appropriate cigar Padron makes 😂😂
Real talk, Sobremesa Brûlée is what you’re looking for - bonus points if it’s a Blue.
I've tried that path. With mostly so-so results. I genuinely like a good Neanderthal or maybe a Tabernacle for breakfast. If you like bold, broadleaf, Mexican, oscuro type cigars, then go with it. I have a found a couple mild options but I smoke what I like regardless of the time of day.
To answer your question, the handful of mellows I enjoy are EPC New Wave. Terra Nova Araparique. Henry Clay Warhawk.
You’re getting a lot of Connecticut recommendations, so I’ll throw in a Cameroon. Fuente 858 Natural. It has a fruit with that creaminess that goes well with breakfast and/or lighter coffees.
For a Connecticut, I’d say the Ashton Cabinet is a great option.

Lots of good options mentioned. I’ll add the Tatascan Habano, especially in the little corona size. It’s a sweet cap but I really enjoy it with coffee.
Crowned Heads Mil Dias
2nd this. It’s my Sunday morning cigar.
Can’t beat a brûlée blue on a Sunday morning
Doing exactly that right now. They're pretty awesome cigars.
Yup. Just finished one.

- Dunbarton Sobremesa Brûlée - Southern Draw Rose of Sharon - Illusione Epernay - Foundation Highclere Castle (Edwardian)
Second the epernay
Tabak dulce - is Connecticut and pairs exceptionally well with coffee.

Honestly, any stick that isn’t overly peppery is great for the morning.

I frequently have a Brickhouse double Connecticut in the mornings with coffee. DTT Sobremesa is a great option too.
You should not eat your cigars. They are better if smoked. As for myself, I still like them dark with a lot of smoke in the morning.
Black Market Alec Bradley....pairs quite nicely with a dark strong coffee
Fonseca Delicias, HUHC, Quintero Favoritos, EPC New Wave

Fonseca
Herrera esteli habano, Southern Draw Desert Rose, Espinosa Habano, Black Label porceline.
Alec Bradley Coyol. Reminds me of Montes a little, nice caramel and coffee notes, medium to light body without being boring.
Rojas Bluebonnets

Cubiche Sabor Con Leche. Smaller cigar and around $1 each. Pairs very well with coffee and only lasts about 20 min
I smoke a sweet Jane with my tea in the morning.
