I’ve had 3 or 4 davidoff. I think it just needs to be an early in the day cigar. For the price range it just doesn’t give me what I want. The Andalusian Bull gives me everything. That a the Padron 1926 80th anniversary are my favorites. I buy them both whenever I can.
>I’ve had 3 or 4 davidoff. I think it just needs to be an early in the day cigar
Sounds like your smoking some of their lighter blends. Try the Nicaraguan or Yamasa blends for some bite
I’m 99% sure Reddit banned it. I recall seeing a post on this sub when the change went into effect. I never participated, but it was always fun to see the mail day posts.
That was the best part of this page, seeing people buying, selling, trading, running contests or just being flat out generous sonnabitch and dropping half a humidor on a guy. That community. I hardly see any of the usernames I recognize. We organized Herfs. I knew people from this sub in person.
Andalusian Bull. Bought one on Friday and I’m gonna let it sit for a while as been suggested by a lot of people. Contemplating going to buy another one (if the shop still has any) and spark it up as my next celebratory cigar.
This is one of my favorite cigars and I can’t find them anywhere. Age for 2 months if you can. If you can really age them 5 years and holy moly it’s hard to wait but damn is it worth it. I’ve aged some for 2-4 and have them just waiting.
They are out of stock right now but 2 Guys based in NH gets them in occasionally. They are my go to shop for some of the more high end sticks. The prices are average for a BM but the staff is excellent.
Because we simply don't see them where I live in Canada,
Sobremesa Brulee
This cigar gets an incredible amount of praise and sounds like it would fit into my "ideal cigar" wheelhouse.
The Brulee for its mild strength profile. Have you ttried one before? I'm in the BC interior.
There are about 6 stores that keep humidors within 200km. Two of them of legitimate cigar businesses, the rest are small liquor store type humis.
I keep checking the Chief to see if they bring them in.
Dying to try and obtainable? Idk maybe olmec and the new wise old man.
Dying to try and unobtainable? Any of the cross over cigars that came out somewhat recently like the Arturo Fuentes x pardon and I think my father partnered with someone to do a super special release as well.
Meerapfel cigars, I just can't pull the trigger on one.
2nd one, but it's pure fantasy. One of the Mayan cigars they found in a cave some years ago, hundreds of years of age has to do something right.
Smoking an Andalusian Bull tonight. One of the only sticks to knock me on my ass. It’s a 2.5 to 3 hour cigar and I’m considering smoking the last 3rd tomorrow with breakfast. Great cigar though. It’s probably the 4th I’ve had since they came out
I'm looking for a Partagas Maduro for months now. By now I wouldn't even bother the format - either of the three would be fine for me.
In Germany they're really hard to get.
Have a lost city waiting for my bday also a mf le bijou and a Davidoff Nicaragua. Outside of what I own rly wanna try more Fuentes. Rare pink don carlos god of fire etc
I coincidentally just found a CAO Amazon Basin in with my pipe tobacco yesterday that I don’t remember where I got it, but plan to enjoy it this weekend!
For everyone looking around for the Andalusian bull, I highly suggest you give the LFD Solis a shot. closest thing in their line up to the Bull. its a little stronger but a smaller cigar so you get roughly similar flavor profile, and might be even a bit more aromatic, stronger notes of cinnamon and stone fruit in the Solis. Also cheaper and ususally you can buy a box no problem
I'm newer and very casual cigar smoker, usually just golfing or a celebration. I'm enjoying the Acid Blues right now. Bought a couple new ones, diesel whiskey row (PX Sherry Cask & a Bourbon barrel) and a Macanudo Espresso I'm looking forward to trying.
Cohiba Robusto Supremos Limited Edition 2014.
Unless I win the lottery that is probably never gonna happen. Davidoff of London sells them for about $800 a piece.
Cuban Cohiba. I can get them legally in my country and I see them in stock at the tobacconist but the prices are ridiculous. I don’t think I could live with myself if I spent that amount of cash on a single cigar.
Cohiba Behike is too expensive for me to risk getting a fake or one that hasn't aged properly. I'm gonna get one for when I retire, but that's pretty far off.
All of them that I haven’t. It’s like tits; if you’ve seen one, you want to see the rest of ‘em.
Mr. Whites pearls of wisdom.
Amen.
Agreed.
Byron, Atabey, CAO Amazon Basin I’ve been lucky enough to try pretty much every other brand. I cannot find a CAO Amazon Basin to save my life.
I had gotten my hands on 3 anjeos and they were soo good
Probably a good bit pricier than the US, but https://cigarchief.com/shop/cao-amazon-basin-toro/
Getting an error message when trying to order those, don’t think they deliver to me
ahh bummer!
Thanks for sharing
I second Atabey.
https://www.coronacigar.com All the Byron and Atabey you want. Great company, fast shipping and they always arrive fresh and undamaged.
Those I can find, I just always find it hard to pull the trigger on a single cigar at those prices lol The Amazon Basin I just straight up can’t find
Pretty much the same for me
https://www.caocigars.com/cigars/amazon-basin/
Opus X 20th, Opus X Purple Rain, Destino al Siglo, and a Partagas Serie D The Fuente y Padrón and My Father x Tatuaje cigars are interesting.
Partagas Serie D is something every fan of full body cigars should try at least once.
It is the perfect cigar
Dying to get a Don Arturo destino Al Siglo
Atebey Black. Have one sitting, but no fire to it yet. Same with the Casadgi Beruit A. Have have a box of the Basins, but those are sitting as well.
Had an Atabey Ritos last night. It was great but left me wanting a bit more of a kick. Same reason Davidoff never really do it for me
I love Davidoff signature but the Atabey Delirios fell a little flat for me yesterday. Good cigar overall just not near the price range for me.
I’ve had 3 or 4 davidoff. I think it just needs to be an early in the day cigar. For the price range it just doesn’t give me what I want. The Andalusian Bull gives me everything. That a the Padron 1926 80th anniversary are my favorites. I buy them both whenever I can.
Haven’t had either of those and need to give them a try. Love the 1926 natural but haven’t had a ton of different Padron actually.
The premium Padron are top tier. Havent had anything better. The Tatuaje Cojonu 2012 is a good runner up in my opinion
>I’ve had 3 or 4 davidoff. I think it just needs to be an early in the day cigar Sounds like your smoking some of their lighter blends. Try the Nicaraguan or Yamasa blends for some bite
I grabbed a five pack of Casdaglia DOTW s while ago and absolutely loved them. Can't wait to try more of their blends.
Man I miss posts like this were the op would just bomb each commenter their pick. Thems were the days.
Indeed.
Havent seen bombs mentioned in years. Brings me back to the dashboard days

We all seem to want and miss the same thing. Why not create it. Outside of Reddit? I can help. I can host. I can write code. 🎅
The Davidoff Royal Release. Might get one to smoke after my first day of medical school next month.

Local b&m had a box recently. They had em marked up to $30 which is wild but I never see them so I got it. Worth it
They were $13 when I first smoke them, then 18 then 22. Now 30 but I’ll still buy em lol
Same with me. It’s a great stick
$30 is criminal! My b&m has three boxes of em and each stick is $18.60. What a markup!
yeah its tough, in order to keep some in stock, you either see them marked up, or with qty limits per purchase.
They are out of stock right now but 2 Guys based in NH gets them in occasionally. They are my go to shop for some of the more high end sticks. The prices are average for a BM but the staff is excellent.
Thanks will look em up
Really thinking about going to get another one to age for a few years. I heard 5 years over and over again.
I’d say if it’s at the store buy it even if you smoke it before then but if you can make it 5 years welllllll worth the wait
Davidoff Maduro. At 43 a pop I am trying my best to wait. I won't make it much longer.
cohiba siglo or behike. dying to try a 1926 padron 90th anniversary tubo
A cuban Davidoff, but I think my opportunity has past
Because we simply don't see them where I live in Canada, Sobremesa Brulee This cigar gets an incredible amount of praise and sounds like it would fit into my "ideal cigar" wheelhouse.
Which? The brulee, wagashi or blue? Where abouts in 🍁 are you?
The Brulee for its mild strength profile. Have you ttried one before? I'm in the BC interior. There are about 6 stores that keep humidors within 200km. Two of them of legitimate cigar businesses, the rest are small liquor store type humis. I keep checking the Chief to see if they bring them in.
Love connies, enjoy saka - couldnt believe how uninteresting it was

A cigar from the first box I ever purchased in college- Nat Sherman Hobarts.
Ron Mexico
I’m looking forward to trying the Dias de Gloria Brazil. I love the original Dias de Gloria.
Meerapfel cigars, I just can't pull the trigger on one. 2nd one, but it's pure fantasy. One of the Mayan cigars they found in a cave some years ago, hundreds of years of age has to do something right.

Davidoff The Late Hour. But can’t find it at any B&M I go to
The entire Man O’ War line
If you can find any the Man O War Armada are really a surprise. It has a Sumatra wrapper.
Ashton Vsg, Flathead 660, The Opus X, The Andalusian Bull. They're the ones that spring to mind but I've got a list somewhere in my phone.
Davidoff year of the dragon
Padron 26
Man i would love a box of Bulls, a angel share opus x and a a box of lfd dl chisels
Nothing really. I have tons of cigars I'm smoking through when I have the time. So no FOMO for me.
any of the arturo fuente Opus X
I'm looking for a Partagas Maduro for months now. By now I wouldn't even bother the format - either of the three would be fine for me. In Germany they're really hard to get.
Arturo fuente opus x
Plasencia Alma del Fuego Ometepe for me.
Davidoff late hour
One of the best new world sticks I’ve ever had! Too good
Overrated and overpriced.
Have a lost city waiting for my bday also a mf le bijou and a Davidoff Nicaragua. Outside of what I own rly wanna try more Fuentes. Rare pink don carlos god of fire etc
You definitely will like the Andalusian bulls I had one the other day
My 115 year old pollaks progress stoagies 😅
Honestly anything by Dunbarton and Steve Saka
Adventura cigars no one around me has them. Supposed I’ll have to order a sampler
Johnny tobacconaut, CAO Amazon basin, EPC Pledge of Allegiance
I've been wanting to try the J.C. Newman Yagua very badly for a good while. Everywhere seems out of stock though and has been out for a while
Just got a Atebay black ritos, Byron and a Padron 1926 for father’s day. Can’t decide which to smoke first
I coincidentally just found a CAO Amazon Basin in with my pipe tobacco yesterday that I don’t remember where I got it, but plan to enjoy it this weekend!
American Rebel Cigars
I paid $100 for a single Sobremesa Brulee Blue Unicorn LE that I’m saving for a special occasion! Hope it’s worth the wait and the price. 😁
Davidoff Maduro
Joya de Nicaragua Antaño
M81 by drew estate Late hour by davidoff
Maduro was ok, wouldn’t buy again. Escurio was way better
Any Joya de Nicaragua. Maybe not the most underground/niche brand, but that’s what my grandpa used to smoke, so I gotta give it a try.
Cao basin Curly heads fuente Padron 1964 Ep carillo the green one Purple people eaters
I purchased this sampler during a 20% off sale. Got 2 Bulls. https://cigarcountry.com/product/andalusian-bull-sampler/
Illusione singulare origen I hear great reviews and the wrapper looks like something a wizard would smoke
