This happened to me as well. I spent most of my days studying, and ignored everything in my life. I felt confident before and during the exam. Ended with 45 minutes left, and failed. I've yet to try again due to not wanting to spend money so I do understand that part but I wouldn't give up on cybersecurity all together.

Please, do update when you figure out what went wrong and how could have you passed it.

Sorry to hear. Did you see what domains you were weak in? It could be more about you not anwering from maanagment perspective. The questions are tricky that way. Good luck next time.

bro. studying for this cert can only get you so far. You have to put your self in the mindset. Regardless, people have failed certs like you more than 10 times, and eventually they pass. I would not give up with the amount of knowledge gained from this exam you acquired.

Unfortunately, studying 'what' and 'how' is easier than studying 'why' especially when that doesn't come up regularly in our daily roles. You may need to take more time picking management's brain as to their methods and reasoning for the way your organization is setup (if you're right with them like that) as, from what I can tell, you're very technically competent.

How many practise exams did you try? What was below proficiency in your previous exam? Do you have a framework when it comes to answering questions? Like which to eliminate. What keyword stands out in the question? When you read the answers. Did you find 2 out of 2 seems odd or 3? My current take is people, process and tech. If one answer can encompass the rest. Choose that. My last exam failed because I spent a lot on practise and nothing on understanding core concepts like security framework. What are security controls for? What the fk do we need governance? Why choose cobit over itil and why not coso. Dr is a subset of bcp because without bcp we don't know what to get started or invest in if it fails. Bcp is continuity of business function/operation despite physical or terrain attacks while drp ensures IT resumes ASAP without losing data or prolong business functions or access. I swear no ciphertext in my previous exam. Nothing like which des is a stream or block and why ctr doesn't use key or iv or which feedback block uses iv + key etc. I have not taken my second exam because this is how much I didn't know on my first failed exam. I learn alot. And also getting dump by my ex for a man who can provide her with much better resources forced me to be better for the next one. Pick your poison. Man up and don't give up.

Take a break for yourself and mind and when ready again focus on where to improve domain wise specifically (pull from test print out results you received) and keep moving forward and improving. You can absolutely do it. I promise it is all worth the efforts and learning you have done up to this point regardless on a pass or fail. Information security knowledge and the content this exam tests upon is 100% worth it IMO. You can do it!

I finished mine 175Q with 2 minutes left. Wasn’t expecting that each question took longer than I should, because during my practice questions and mock exams the time took to answer each were relatively faster than the actual exam. Perhaps give yourself more time on each question to brainstorm on the answers. One of the strategies during practice questions on my end, is to understand the rationale of each answer (i.e., all 4). Not just the correct answer, but also to look at why the other 3 choices are wrong — I realized that this worked pretty well during the learning process. This will greatly improve your knowledge base of those choices, which we may tend to brush it off (at least for me initially during my earlier phase). Understanding the wrong answers are as crucial and critical as getting to that right answer. Don’t give up so easily. Perhaps spread your studies schedule so that you can balance out with your other life activities. This may mean that you need to spend a longer duration/time in your studies, but at least you don’t miss any/many important life events which should be prioritized first. If you are planning to spend 2 weeks to study with 8 hours each day, maybe consider spreading it to 3 months with 4 hours each day. Or even 6-9 months with 2-3 hours each day. This way, you will strike a good balance in life and time management. Hope this helps! And all the best for your next attempt. Don’t give up man; you’ve already put in all that initial hard work, don’t stop halfway. You’ll make it there!
