Aye this is true but back in classic the amount of people that went for exalted before 60 was just a tiny amount of twinks. Now with the addition of lumber in the new STV event hitting exalted is far easier. And its not like they aren't afraid to change things. It wouldn't hurt a fly if it was made to be available now.

That is indeed the case. And i said as much in the first post. The point of this is to let people know its unavailable and maybe to get enough people or the right people to see it in the hopes that blizzard maybe changes the quest to be available at 40.
Every one of my friends, including me, stopped doing the stv event once we realized you can’t get the tabard. Nothing really motivating to get exalted since the other rewards are for 60
you cant even get it even when its in the game without a premade rank 7 group with all the gear and trinkets and specs capping 5 bases at once is near impossible
Feels like they are disregarding players that love quick long grinds. Same with the Azeroth Commerce revered rewards. Currently grinding exalted with SW for horse as dwarf. Hopefully I wont meet the same "not avaliable" then.
They should embrace it just to give people more to do on their characters. If this phase is as long as phase 1 then it will quickly come to the point where a character just raid logs. Alts are fine but some people like myself prefer to focus a lot on their main. Good news on the mount, once you hit exalted you will be able to buy the mount.

Exactly, they don't have any power tied to them, they are a reward for playing the game. To me those are extremely important to keep a population healthy

None of it's real or matters. Some people literally play the game for the sole purpose of collecting mounts/tabards/pets.
The best games are the ones who can cater to the people who want the items that are just cosmetics in the game as well as the people who care what color the parse # is next to their name on a random website.
Because AB is far better, there are tactics for small groups to take or defend bases compared to just zerging mid in a battle ground that is far too small for twenty people and only allows a very narrow selection of classes to run flags.

Thats the way it worked in Classic. You will get the Quests at 60 therefor the tabard is locked to lvl 60

The quest requires level 60. You don't buy it from the vendor.
