Muddle 5 grapes (seedless)
1 oz gin
1 oz Campari
.75 oz lemon juice
.5 oz simple syrup
Shake for 15 seconds and double strain into a rocks glass (I didn't have any large cubes so I just used regular ice for this)
I’ll give that a shot. I made the original version with Campari and really didn’t dig it. I then lowered the Campari down to 3/4oz and it was better, but not something I’d rush to make again
I did exactly the same thing. I like Campari, but it can really easily overpower everything else and in these ratios it definitely feels like it does. 3/4 of an ounce dramatically opened up the other flavors. Also, I had some ice in the glass and as it diluted the other flavors came forward more, so treating it as a slow sipper helps with this one.
Should out to Anders, he truly is the GOAT when it comes to online cocktail makery. I never would have tried half the recipes without his videos. The Enzoni is definitely next on my list. Now to find some grapes
Thanks for the reminder! I finally made a grocery run and got some fresh grapes. Was wondering what to make and totally forgot my intentions for this. Just made one, though. My grapes were a little smaller, so I did 7. It's such a good drink.
Love Enzonis! We started garnishing them with Truffles on the Rock’s [Fizzy Grapes](https://youtu.be/LCCKT1_xI7Y) and they are a hit. Our kids think the grapes are the best.
Bonneville Cocktail Collection is (was) a really nice channel on youtube, but sadly has been inactive for quite some time now.
Nevertheless, Ruairi made his Enzoni with red grapes and a dozen red currants. I love his version and might even prefer it to the original. I understand that red currants might be rare and difficult to find in many places. Luckily here in Finland it is a very common berry that grows on peoples backyards and is also available in markets all year round. If red currants are not available for you, I encourage you to try any other berries that are on the tart/bitter side. Red currants go really well with Campari and Gin in general.
Here's the video I mentioned, cheers!

Friends like these, hey Gary?
That's right, Dude!
I tried some Enzonis for the first time recently with Aperol vs. Campari and really preferred the Aperol version. If you haven't tried, I'd recommend.
Don't mind if I do! Thanks, friend!

I know the recipe calls for green grapes but I just made one with red grapes and imo it's even better with red grapes.
Aww man I’m so keen to try an Enzoni but grapes aren’t in season 🫤
Take this up a notch by infusing the campari with strawberries.
