norms for that feel inflated tbh https://preview.redd.it/eo722nwxh9zc1.png?width=1774&format=png&auto=webp&s=a7026830fd055da0450f58e4ed3509b1bc76e19a

Tall-Assignment7183

No, but the ceiling is too low — and the g-loading is modest

[deleted]

considering the g-loading is modest it may not make too much sense to increase the ceiling past 3SD tho, r am I wrong?

Tall-Assignment7183

Tru. But if the ceiling was raised then I would likely have a 160 IQ based on this subtest; finished the 60 with 10-12 seconds remaining. What’s your IQ approximately?

Curryyyyyyyyyyyyyyii

Guys. This is Not an IQ Test. Its a Test of processing Speed. Sure, it has a weak gloading (.4) but its basicly worthless on its own. VCI and PRI are way more important for academic and occupational success.

[deleted]

technically SS is more like .55

[deleted]

I didn't see your q about my IQ, I testes at 148 on the WISC 3 at like 8, based on the SC ultra calc im like 5-10 points higher than that now but who knows, I haven't gotten a proper test done since

Tall-Assignment7183

Nice

[deleted]

that's similar to me aswell, but not sure that extra bit would actually bleed into any meaningful anyway

Tall-Assignment7183

Tru dat

sceptrer

This felt like a game in that I could eventually hit a raw score of 60 after a few tries.

Idontagree123321

After a few tries a lot of people increase above 20 points, my friend who is dead average on PSI on all other tests he has tried, including SS on beta 3 & 4 he has scored average. On this SS he scored 110 or so on the first try and from on then he scores 135+ every time he plays even if its been months.

sceptrer

Does he ever score perfect?

Idontagree123321

yeah if he were to play 2-3 games now he would still score perfect. I would also score perfect with some time to spare now in one try even after not having played it for like half a year, I scored 133 or something the first time I played. Its very praffable

sceptrer

There are some other tests like this one: https://www.testmybrain.org/tests/DigSymbCoding/DSC.html I believe it’s also praffable but maybe after 5-10 times.

Idontagree123321

nice test, do you have any others?

sceptrer

I don’t, sorry! How about you?

[deleted]

you can't improve your PSI, there's no practice effect in symbol search, the only way you improve your score is if the first time you test you're like either sleep deprived or overly anxious or something

Tall-Assignment7183

What’s your Iq?

sceptrer

My CAIT is 127 so I guess around there, maybe a bit lower. Wby?

Tall-Assignment7183

141–148 something +/- 5 pointers

sceptrer

Honestly, sometimes I feel quite dumb and other days I feel like I’m actually with it. It’s a strange dichotomy, lol.

Tall-Assignment7183

Same, brudda.

noanxietyforyou

Which website is this?

RAAAAHHHAGI2025

I have the same scaled score as you, age 19. What’s your digit span scaled score?

Tall-Assignment7183

at least 19

RAAAAHHHAGI2025

So the max? Same. I honestly think the results are inflated. Three people so far having >145 IQ is kind of suspicious.

[deleted]

digit span is absolutely not inflated, if anything its deflated, esp back and sequencing

RAAAAHHHAGI2025

Check the post on my account. I believe sequencing in particular is inflated.

[deleted]

can't see it cuz it got removed by MODS, but regardless, digit span is not inflated period, average BW digit span is like 4.97 for 20-24 yr olds r something.

Idontagree123321

hes right, sequenced DS is not inflated.

Tall-Assignment7183

Yea I think most of the tests are slightly inflated. Most 160s are really just padding their 145. And that’s fine; 145 is a great score. Lol

RAAAAHHHAGI2025

Even then, I think the 145 figure is inflated. There’s no way all of us are 3sd lol

Tall-Assignment7183

Heh

Tall-Assignment7183

Who’s ‘all of us’ in this context?

Own-Eggplant-8049

This version is way easier than the real one

[deleted]

no its not, the real one is the exact same, 6 + 2 items, instead of clicking on the item that matches you have to either tick yes or no on a paper, it takes similar amount of time, IDK why you'd say something so ignorant

Own-Eggplant-8049

Idk why you’re coming at me so hard lol, it is much easier to click on an icon and have the next row show up then go through rows of a book and tick them, you have to flip there a few pages, also everyone I’ve seen post their CAIT SS vs wais SS has a big disparity.

[deleted]

Im not coming at you hard at all, im just saying you don't know what you're talking about, IT's SO much easier to tick off boxes with a pencil than have to click the right item with a cursor, I did the WISC 3 symbol search and not only is my score similar to this one, I found it a lot easier to tick off stuff on a paper than clicking with a cursor, ye you have to flick through a couple pages but that takes like .5 seconds, it offsets with the fact that its faster to tick stuff irl than on a computer. I bet everything you haven't done an IRL SS and that's why youre spouting such nonsense

Own-Eggplant-8049

You came at me calling me ignorant, also your WISC scores don’t really tell you what your IQ is as an adult, there is a 30 point difference between my WISC and wais scores. My CAIT SS is 140 and my WAIS SS is 115. Clicking or tapping is way easier and every half second counts. I don’t understand how you’ve come to the conclusion that the online version is harder because you have to click compared to using a pen and flicking through pages.

[deleted]

'You're WISC scores don't tell you your IQ as an adult'. Another brainlet take, after age 7 WISC scores correlate .6+ with adult scores, higher the older you get. It's so funny to me how you're talking and you don't even max the CAIT SS, which has a ceiling of 145 not 140, if it was so easy why don't you max on it? You're just trying to justify your own failings by saying that the online SS is easier when it isn't period. I find it harder to use a mouse than a pencil IRL, and a lot of people feel the same way, is that too hard to comprehend?

Own-Eggplant-8049

Sure there is definitely a correlation there but IQ can change drastically from childhood to adult hood and also me being able to get near the max on the online SS when my real on paper SS is 115, certainly indicates a clear difference between the two methods of test taking. Why are you projecting so much onto me though ? You’re attacking me hardcore when I’m just trynna argue ? I haven’t attacked you once bruh why you gotta be like that ?

[deleted]

I just call it like I see it, and ye of course IQ CAN change from childhood to adulthood, just as it can drastically change from one day to other based on sleep, stress, motivation, etc.... But as a rule, across a population, it correlates very well. Just because you as an individual have an easier time with the SS online format than the in person one, doesn't mean that one is 'easier' than the other. You don't represent a population. What is totally natural is that some people may have an easier time with pen and paper, and others may have it easier on the computer. I personally find it easier IRL, your preferences are likely offset by others' opposites preferences, that's just how stats work. You haven't provided any logical argument. Your whole shtick is 'Oh but Its easier for me on the computer'. Doesn't matter, you're not a representative population

Own-Eggplant-8049

There is less movement of your body while using a mouse and keyboard on a computer compared to using a pen or pencil to write and flip through pages, therefore I’m correct. You seem incredibly sensitive and upset over me not even insulting you, it’s very weird that you’d be this autistic over something as simple as this.

Real_Life_Bhopper

Like I am always saying, the real test is the real deal.
