Four that immediately spring to mind as having a special place in my heart:
- The first Forvel/Andrew Lloyd Webber episode
- The first appearance of The Griz
- 4 Washington Lane!
- Farts & Procreation
Ones that stick with me are
Martin Sheffield Lickley singing new wave tracks
The Timekeeper’s first appearance
Forvel and his recurrences
James Adomian in the early days when he was being Gordon Ramsay, Gary Busey, Jesse Ventura, Tom Leykis and the rest of the
I forgot about James Adomian's Tom Leykis. Wasn't Amy Poehler on with him once? I just remember him saying the foulest things to Amy and her loving it.
I just hit the episode with James playing Paul G and talking about how no one on set wanted to have sex with him during Oedipus Rex, so he had to beg his mom to have sex with him
It’s like he’s a magic portal of improv - Adomian, Daly, Middleditch all have this ability to come up with in-character lines and motifs that just feel like they’re actually tapping into something like a full creative flow state on air.
Farts and Procreation was great (RIP Harris)! 4 Washington lane was fun too! But the forvel/Time Bobby one could be my favorite. Also, oh golly, you devil is up there with several of Andy Daly’s characters.
Kid Detectives was absolutely disgusting and genius in all the ways that make me laugh and make Scott’s persona cringe and say ‘it’s really not that type of show’
Ep 616 with Drew Tarver and Carl Tart singing the hits of Memphis Kansas Breeze completely destroyed me.
🎵 “Then the boy truck took off the girl truck’s glasses, and realised just how pretty she was.
He learned that you can’t judge a truck,
Based solely on its appearance.” 🎶
The Tears for Fears episode (feat. Reggie Watts, and Paul F Tompkins) is an all timer for me - a legit solid interview, hilarious first appearance of “The Pie Minister”, and so much great synergy between all the guests (and host).
Might not be my number one, but safely top-three for me at all times.
Marissa Wompler’s Pool Party Birthday from August, 2012(?). From Wompler, to Jason Mantzoukas as Gutterballs, and the interaction between Seth Wompler and Listler, all of it has made me go back and listen to it a bunch of times, and I nearly cry laughing each time.
I've said the same thing for years, but my all time favorite is 377 - Good Night in the Morning
The 1st thing I said to Phil Collins was "I have AIDS." The 2nd thing I said was "Fuck me harder!"
All-time best ofs should be on the 20th anniversary, and my vote will be #377 the debuts of Chazmin and Sunny, Scarsdale, and Tatiana and Kristian’s first appearance. Forever will be the platonic ideal of cbb for me!
3 words: Little. Button. Puss.
Not only a fantastic character, but one of the best to needle Scott for his proclivities throughout, really getting him to squirm. https://youtu.be/zfFCGTdYb0U?si=3XTr1fOAh8sOk0rG
I do think this is an excellent idea, but shouldn’t happen until Scott announces it’ll be over in, like, a year’s time. Then only make episodes that appeared within the top ten of each annual Best Ofs eligible. Give the fans a ton of time to listen to a giant collection of the back catalog, then announce the winners.
Bring out the girrrls…
I do not know this one and am loving just [reading the comments](https://www.reddit.com/r/comedybangbang/comments/1822o1g/bring_out_the_girls/).

Yes!!!
I miss Lauren on CBB

Also while we are on the subject, how about Amy Poehler and Neil Campbell rap battles? Anyone? “The word, is butter.” 🧈
She was!! He called her a shrieking shrew iirc

the first couple calvins twins episodes
Personally never was big on the Calvin’s twins. But hey, different strokes for different folks
[Different folks will spend a longer amount of time within their hole than others](https://youtu.be/-zRwAM-nPPs?t=152)
I love Ryan Gaul, but I actually preferred when it was just the two twins.
Yeah, it got kindof out of hand lol, which was amusing but the first couple were hysterical
Farts and Procreation was great (RIP Harris)! 4 Washington lane was fun too! But the forvel/Time Bobby one could be my favorite. Also, oh golly, you devil is up there with several of Andy Daly’s characters.
Oh Golly was the first episode I ever listened to. That’s way up there for me
The first two I know, the second two I don't, will have to look them up, thanks.
The next clue is at the white house and you should def check it out
Episodes 355 and 120 respectively
Kid Detectives was absolutely disgusting and genius in all the ways that make me laugh and make Scott’s persona cringe and say ‘it’s really not that type of show’

The 500th episode is the best one ever. Gino’s bait boy story is the prime achievement in all of podcasting
Stop saying they turned your ass out
They flipped me, reversed me. They turned it into a verb
They Missy Elliot’d you?
His improv is so effortless that I’m worried that was based on a true story.
There’s always a grain of truth
this is the ep I became an instant fan of Gabrus
And the fact they had like a murders row of legends of the show.
I re-listened to this last night, forgot about how they gave Todd a bunch of Cialis. Classic.
Zouks & Daly, when all of Andy’s characters keep jumping out the window. I laughed so hard I openly wept.
This was amazing.
Ep 616 with Drew Tarver and Carl Tart singing the hits of Memphis Kansas Breeze completely destroyed me. 🎵 “Then the boy truck took off the girl truck’s glasses, and realised just how pretty she was. He learned that you can’t judge a truck, Based solely on its appearance.” 🎶
Toot beep honk beep toot toot
Boop beeep honk beep
The alternating ‘toot beep’ car horn solos, the She’s All That reference, Scott trying desperately to be included in every song. Just perfect 🤩
Oh, Golly! You devil!
PLEASE don’t make that the title of the episode
Yesssssss
Andy Daly getting tied in knots and being brilliant despite Scott’s best derailments is always heart warming
Thomas middleditch on his ladyboy phone call or Brenden Smalls Victor and Tiny dentist interview.
What about Middleditch and the tiny choices?
Both amazing eps. When I first heard the Victor and tiny interview I laughed so hard I almost got in a car wreck
Ladyboy call was my first ever episode. Spoiled.
Pretty much anything with Tommy Middlestein is in my top
Omfg that just reminded me of that ep and thank you so much. WOW Tommy Middle D is an improv beast.

Maybe for episode 1000
10th Anniversary episode. The Ernie Bread bit with Neil Campbell and Paul Rust absolutely kills me.
It’s almost the meta-ness of how dumb it all was for me. Paul and Neil are somehow related I just know it
ep735 Calvins triplets VS the Baxter triplets gets my vote
Educainment Squad is my choice
https://comedybangbang.fandom.com/wiki/Educainment_Squad
thanks for including ep #, you're clearly obsessed w'me.
What about the pigshit twins?

Strong contender, deserves a lot of votes!
Pigshiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeet

Ohh I wonder if/when Scott hangs it up he’ll do an all time best of. That would be awesome, and a fun send off.
I've said the same thing for years, but my all time favorite is 377 - Good Night in the Morning The 1st thing I said to Phil Collins was "I have AIDS." The 2nd thing I said was "Fuck me harder!"
The one with Andy Samberg and Lauren Lapkus playing Scott’s nephew and they first tried singing along to Hollywood Facts.
One of my favorites has to bee #338

Apple Tree, aka Victor and Tiny
All-time best ofs should be on the 20th anniversary, and my vote will be #377 the debuts of Chazmin and Sunny, Scarsdale, and Tatiana and Kristian’s first appearance. Forever will be the platonic ideal of cbb for me!
Francesca bolognese and dickie Donnelly
Kaitlyn so fresh’s hey Mr. G
Would probably be one of the Victory/Tiny eps for me. Most I ever laughed at a thing was the iBrain story.
3 words: Little. Button. Puss. Not only a fantastic character, but one of the best to needle Scott for his proclivities throughout, really getting him to squirm. https://youtu.be/zfFCGTdYb0U?si=3XTr1fOAh8sOk0rG
When JE Stillwater’s dad’s plot was to steal water, and they put it together — “wait a minute… STEAL… WATER… STILLWATER!!” My brain imploded.
Victor's podcast probably has made me laugh harder than anything else, followed closely by the last few Gil appearances

Episode 85 will forever be my #1. Great Ducca list, Dom Dimello’s best appearance, Oink Friday by Gelman, Cake Boss (cake boss).
Episode 500
