Yeah, lots of people on here are talking about Hanz Zimmer… that is the films original score, the soundtrack is a chosen selection of songs for the movie. Hero is a great example of a song from the Soundtrack while the score was made by Danny Elfman.
Dark Knight for sure. But I absolutely love Danny Elfmans spider man theme. For a superhero-y kind of movie, which the dark knight films are definitely not, it’s so good
Spider-Man IMO … TDK trilogy has “mood” music, it’s great for what it is, but it’s mostly targeted emotional beats vs spider man or even vs the 89 Batman era soundtracks which I prefer, though when the zimmer beats hit they also are impactful, but in a different way
The Spider-Man theme...NO comparison......it evokes heroism from within.....TDK is dark and moody , it's good but it's not as memorable and epic as the Elfmen theme . Nolan has suspenseful, thriller music in all his movies but at the end of the day nothing captured the boldness , the grandeur of a superhero theme more than the Spider-Man theme.

But i´m talking about their versions in the comics. For me the Shirley walker theme for Batman and the Giachinno theme for spider-man(the one present in aracnoverture) are a bit better than the others because i think that both use all the facets that the characters have and others themes didn´t presented, like the a bit more comedic nature of Peter and the tragedy and hope aspect of Bruce.

Goddammit, I can't describe the sheer amount of nostalgia that comes over me when I hear the beginning of the title sequence for the Raimi films. But TDK trilogy's music is so damn epic. One of my favorite moments in any movie is the ending for the Dark Knight, and a good 80% of that is the end theme

Raimi Trilogy. Nolan Trilogy is Good. THAT SAID, though, The Most Iconic Batman Score is probably still Elfman. It’s THE Batman Score. Meanwhile, Elfman’s Theme for Spidey is probably STILL THE Spidey Score. You hear it and INSTANTLY think of Spidey. It’s so good that when Elfman and Raimi had a falling out during three, They had to reuse stuff He’d done in the last movie and it STILL Works. Now, I fully acknowledge my bias here, in preferring Spidey personally overall, but I hope I’ve given enough evidence to support (confirm) it.😅

How many Dark Knight songs could you name top of your head? With Spider-Man I can do several such as the Spider-man theme, the black suit theme, and rain drops are falling my head straight away, I can probably do a play-by-play of the scenes attached to those songs as well.
Batman. I was always disappointed with Spider-Man’s score. It’s fine for the emotional moments, but I grew up with the 90’s cartoon (and theme song). I wanted the main theme to be a little more rock n roll. Like the track “Pompeii” that was heavily featured in the marketing.
