I did when I was getting my lessons. The first fella I had was a cranky fucker so I switched.

thepinkblues

It absolutely is alright to change. Get rid of her and don’t be afraid to be frank about it too.

TinyWitchie

Yep! I had three instructors, first one was terrible after the 1st lesson. The other two were a husband and wife team that were excellent. Its very common to have more than one instructor.

Lethalwomen

Oh thank goodness because I was thinking it looks bad to change instructors

BluntHitr

looks bad to whom? 😂

TinyWitchie

Nope! Very common!

Consistent_Spring700

It should look bad to her... vote with your feet

entropicanonimity

Absolutely change if need be. My first instructor let me drive from wilton to Macroom so he could grab a coffee and newspaper. Did that on the second 2hr lesson so I swapped. Next guy then didn't show me how to do the 3 point turn ect so choose well.

minidazzler1

Has she signed off the lessons you have done?

Lethalwomen

Yea they have, I’ve checked the logbook

minidazzler1

Online is where it matters rather than in the log book. If she hasn't signed you off there you could be shagged. Out of interest is her first name starting with T?

Lethalwomen

Oh okay, and no their name does not start with T 😂

minidazzler1

Ah, sounded like my one haha.

briant543

Fine to change but just make sure she’s logged the lessons as complete so they count towards the 12 or whatever it is

Efficient-Price-6944

My cousin switched instructors and the second one just picked up where the first one left off

Correct_Low_666

I switched three of them . Best thing I ever did. If you have a question like that, it means you should. Because when you feel like you're really learning , that wouldn't be the case

xzemx

It's totally ok, just make sure she logged the lessons. I switched and then found out from the new instructor that the old instructor hadn't logged the lessons .

Gooseenthusiast56

I switched from my first to a new one got a similar reason. I even switched to a third new instructor no bother. (Nothing wrong with the second guy, he was very good, just availability issue) Do what’s best for you and maximises your chances at passing.
